Not a difficult trail. You do have to be careful at times and make sure you don’t step on a loose rock and turn an ankle. The dessert landscape is simply spectacular. I wish I had a naturalist with me, which would have helped me learn about the landscape. We were warned about snakes, but didn’t spot any.

It’s such a beautiful and easy trail. And I like that the trailhead being so close to Oracle Road. I prefer to go to the left side trail since I have tried both ways. To the right, you still be walking initially, besides a school, before turning away from the school towards the Catalina mountains. To the left, are immediately walking towards the Catalina mountains. There is so much splendor and beauty whichever way you choose to go.
