After receiving my botox treatment over a week ago for the first time at this clinic I started waking up to swollen eyes from the crows feet injection points. From what I’m reading I was given too much botox and now have to wait the 3 – 4 mo period for it to wear off. I have been getting botox since 2010 and have never had this happen before. Now I get to walk around looking tired and like i’ve been hit in the face.

In retrospect I am really disappointed with services I received here. Being younger I didn’t realize my hormones were unbalanced and it was causing a lot of skin problems. I was not talked to about what could be causing this; just prescribed antibiotics and later a hormone disruptor that caused stomach and menstrual issues. I’ve found now with some research that my diet was the issue, cut out dairy and most grains and I’m doing great. I wish I would have been talked to about the diet connection to insulin/​hormones and skin issues, instead just symptoms were treated and of course they made more money :) My brothers also had been prescribed long-​term antibiotics and weren’t told it can cause teeth discoloration; their teeth are now significantly stained grey. Not a good look for a young adult.
