Came in on a Saturday morning to grab some carnitas and barbacoa. The line was out the door the whole time I was here! Not that the service was slow or the cashier was taking too long, no no no, THATMANY people come here! The line moves very quickly and the cooks are all super efficient, making fantastic food. My family loved their barbacoa. My father in law said it was the traditional type.(Made with lengua and not cachetes) he loved it. I purchased 6 lbs of meat. 3 of carnitas and 3 of barbacoa. I waited a mere 5 minutes and was served! Salsa is free if you are ok with a small 6oz cup or two. My total came out to $ 41 for the 6lbs of meat. Cooked of course. This was our first time eating the food from El Cesar and it most definitely won’t be the last! Cash only here! FYI!

Typical hole in the wall place, surrounded by similar restaurants, this place has great carnitas! Salsas are tasty and spicy, many locals eat here. Place is not fancy at all, but food definitely will have me coming back for more.

Many people put a lot of emphasis on the environment and forget all about the food and people. I believe that the quality of the food is most important because today I taste the pork like it was bake from a stove oven. I believe this is true because there was an old Latin lady walking out of the swinging doors. Even though if it was done on a conventional stove this lady had the secret that will make me go again. Despite the good food there were two very polite young ladies, which had a smile that made my day. This is a place I would defiantly go back. This place has the best salsa«unbelievable»
