Big Lots = Big Disappointment! ZEROPOINTZERO! There is a reason my intuition told me never to go in this store: It is one of those big stores with misleading advertising and does not have the integrity to stand behind their advertisements! We walked in there today sort of hoping to find a coffee maker. To my surprise they had this Cusinart Coffee Pot for 25.00 which usually is normally 44.99 — 69.99(and refurbished-WOW)!. I was very excited to find this price! We went to checkout with a few other items and it came to about 70.00! I was like what? How much did the coffee maker ring up to? 49.99? What? Here the picture of the advertised product and we found it over there with the rest of the $ 25.00 products. After a wait of 10 minutes, they came back with no the one with the«Glass» is 25.00. We pointed to the picture and showed her it was Stainless Steel. They refused to make good to this new customer. We walked out with out purchasing anything. You know what? I WILLNEVERGOBACKINTHATSTOREAGAIN! I ADVISEYOUTONEVERGOINTHISSTORETOO! Here I go again quoting California B&P Code, 12024.2. — — — — — — – — — — — — — – — — — — — — – — — — — — — – (a) It is unlawful for any person, at the time of sale of a commodity, to do any of the following: (1) Charge an amount greater than the price, or to compute an amount greater than a true extension of a price per unit, that is then advertised, posted, marked, displayed, or quoted for that commodity.
