Went in there the other day. It was obvious that 2 of the people there were being trained. One of them shouldnt even waste her time because shes so rude! She doesnt smile nor does she know how to speak to anyone with out a nasty attitude like your doing something wrong. The other lady that was training her was so awesome dealt with everything so easily… and fast. Anything i needed help with she was very kind about it… i only go to the childrens part which is a neat set up but yes it very loud and honeless ppl are always outside!

It’s a library. Hardly the best selection in their stacks, but it’s a small town. Closed on Mondays which I thought was odd. When you try and get a card make sure you get the nice librarian. Trust me you will know at once who is nice and who isn’t. If you make the wrong choice she will drone on and on about how you have put down a PO Box and Permanent Address as is requested by the form. Then she will rant about how you need to provide proof that this is your PO Box. You will then need to remove the note from her hand scratch out all the information that has almost caused her head to explode and hand it back to her so that the process can be completed. Over all a super nice place. It’s just annoying to get whined at for half an hour for no good reason.

Noisiest library I’ve Ever been in! Kids crying and Moms«disciplining» endlessly in loud, angry loud voices like they are in their own living room! This goes on for more than an hour, no library staff ever steps in. Even when kids aren’t crying, mom talks in loud«living room«voice. How would kids learn if parents are just as bad –worse, as they should know better, and have consideration for the rest of the library guests! If you can’t respect and share, please go somewhere else that’s appropriate for your behavioral habits, or stay home. I don’t look forward for the people she is grooming to run out society in the coming years. I have about as much respect for her, as she has for us, and the rest of the library guests. Another mom that shouldn’t be. However, I cannot blame all on her, she was simply the most stressful, and greatest cause of distortion. She even let her kids run around, yelling. Eventually, she yelled back! Try providing an example, by communicating to them in a whisper, and take them outside, fir a bit too explain our discipline. Library staff is just as much to blame. Never once did they step in! Most other people seen to talk in normal choices, too, rather than whispers. Unbelievable! This Library is noisy, distracting, and a stressful environment to be in. Far cry from what it’s supposed to be! Staff seems rather useless, unless it’s too tell adults that they can’t sit and work in the quietest section of the library –that’s reserved for teens. Go figure! Better off going to any coffee shop! I pay taxes for this resource, and it’s not run properly. In fact it’s likely by non-taxpayers who are ruining this resource, as they exhibit have little respect it, other people, and all they get free! Hard working legitimate taxpayers, are required to be mute outward looking, just to keep their jobs. I would remove support for this resource, if I had the option. Better, though, I’d say keep the resource, but run it properly. It just might raise the baseline of the community as well. Please, people be more respectful. learned to act appropriately, throw a random act of kindness, take initiative and responsibility! I can only hope this give someone food for thought, and do something to uplift the standards. It benefits Everyone. Even the worst offenders. Character building is always good.
