Worst experience ever. Was given keys and move in date. Went to the house to move in and it was filthy. When I say filthy I’m not exaggerating. I’ve been to cleaner public restrooms at theme parks. I sucked it up and cleaned and bought new toilet seat and with rubber gloves just cleaned because I needed somewhere to live. When I then moved out they had the audacity to say the home was dirty upon move out and wouldn’t return the security deposit. I supplied pictures of the state of the rental when I moved in and they knew how filthy it had been. They still were rude and out of line when I moved out. The house was left in a much better state after we moved out. The way they handled the situation was rude, unprofessional and all of it done by the owner, Cindy. Beware.

I don’t know who moved my previous review from recommended to «not recommended», but probably it was done by someone who is associated with this business. I was a real customer trying to get a home to live in and because of a real bad experience, I had to warn others of it.
I had just gotten out out of active duty service from the military and needed a place to stay. My wife’s parents had put a deposit for us under one of this company’s property for us to move into prior to us coming back home to Oroville. Then we realized that the money we were making werent enough to cover our bills. So we had to go back and ask for the $ 850 deposit back. We hadn’t even moved in yet and they’re telling us we can’t have our deposit back because my mother in law signed a nonrefundable deposit form. Their response was, «you guys can’t have it back because you’re mother in law signed our form and the couple weeks that this deposit had held the property prevented them from getting new tenants.» I laughed and my mother in law told me this property was listed for rent for a while until they put the deposit. I called BS in their stupid policy and looked it up. And with no surprise, it was illegal. I went back to ask for it back and told them what I found under the government website. I commented them and walked out saying that I’ll get 3x my money back if I do take them to court. Before I know it, we got a check in the mail with our $ 850 back. Try Table Mountain Reality and proper management. At least TMR gets things done right and in a reasonable time.

Great experience and honest friendly people. The owners are trained and ethical and know their stuff.

the phone right away and called me back to answer some other questions.

Worst experience with trying to rent through a property management company ever. The employees are rude and misleading. They will trick you into filling out an application and paying a $ 50 non refundable fee telling you that the house you are interested in accepts pets and then reject your application and keep your $ 50 stating that the landlord does not allow pets and that you must have been confused.
Additionally, they have very few rentals and most of the ones they do offer are trashy and poorly kept. They showed us one house claiming it was ready to rent even though the yard was trashed and full of holes where it looked like a dog had been locked outside trying to escape for hours. The whole outside of the house was totally smeared with dirt and muddy paw prints. Another rental we saw had piles of trash strewn everywhere in front of it and the inside was filthy. They also claimed this property was «Available now!»
None of the yards of any of the houses we viewed seemed to have been mowed in weeks, if not months.
I would strongly advise anyone thinking of renting from this company to go elsewhere! They will only waste your time and money on substandard housing at top dollar prices!
Try Table Mountain Realty instead. All of their rentals are beautiful and well kept up. And the people working there are a breath of fresh air from this horrible place.
