My husband and I visited this winery on Father’s Day. The tasting room was small, but easily accommodated everyone present. The parking area was small, but there may be additional spaces behind the facility. There is outdoor seating, so that is always nice. We prefer sweet wines, and that is what we sampled. The staff was sweet and nice, the wine was not. We felt the wines we tasted lacked flavor and truly tasted watery. We paid for our samples and then headed to Hauser and Adam’s wineries. I will say that the staff at Reid was very kind and informative. The wine, not good on this particular day. The wine labels(if you are into that) were eye catching.

I am in love with this winery. The women who work in the tasting room are so friendly and helpful. They remember my fiancé and me every time we stop by, and always give us our money’s worth is tastings. My personal favorite wine was their driest red, called Troika. Unfortunately this wine sold out because it was so unbelievably tasty. I’m also quite fond of their Chardonnay, which is an extremely oakey, buttery, delicious sipper. This is a small family winery, and it’s definitely a different experience from the ever-touristy Adam’s county winery. Reid’s wines are on an entirely different level in terms of quality, but it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that Adam’s County provides. You won’t find wine slushies and water balloon fights at Reids; however, they do have live music at the home winery on summer weekends which are super fun and laid back. Enjoy!

I assume this winery/orchard would be a more desirable visit in the Summer, but was quite empty and cold in late March. Their wine is typical«PA» wine and if you are a fruit wine lover, this place is for YOU!
