Amazing Pizza, my wife loves that there are so many kinds. Fair pricing and above average service.

Stopped for a Pie on the way home for dinner. Very good, for some reason it did not get gummy from being in the box, that was awesome. Stopped in again a few weeks later for lunch, had a salad with the house dressing, it was a great salad and the dressing was home made Italian. Last week had lunch with my sister and some others, she got Stromboli’s, wow… they were great. The pizza dough and Stromboli dough have a great flavor. I will be back again, no reason not too. This time I will try a hoagie.

On cold days the soups are great. Try the chicken enchilada or potato soup! The little spiral homemade crackers are the best. I also like the Bacon pizza… Wish the lettuce was put on after the Slice is hot.

The best cheese steak I ever had. I have been all over this fine country and I love a good cheese steak. I have never had one better.

Gigantic salads, delicious dinners, big club sandwiches, large selection of different kinds of pizza & wings makes this a great place for lunch or dinner. You always have left overs when you leave Valenti’s and the prices are very reasonable. The back room is very nice if you want more of a quiet dinner or you can sit up front and catch a game on the tv. Very friendly staff and Sal always goes out of his way to make sure everyone is satisfied.

Went here for my birthday last Saturday night, Nice neighborhood Family Italian Restaurant located in downtown Orwigsburg pa. with my wife and daughter. We got there around 6:15 and the place was already jammed but we grabbed a table in about 15 mins. and were ready to go While my two guests had sodas I ordered a 7&7 and boy it was 7&7 from the old days. Then instead of appetizers we went with soup, there was about 4 or 5 choices and we all went with the chili which was good. Now onto the main course, I had the Italian Trio(home made lasagna, chicken parm, and linguini alfredo) My Daughter had the Shrimp Scampi and my wife had the 14oz. New York Strip. All was good and there was a lot so take home bags were in order. Onto Dessert which I skipped because I cleaned my plate and was jammed full. Yet my wife and Daughter ordered a Lava Cake and a Tiramasu, again fantastic and the leftovers got pushed in Dad’s direction. For what we ordered and what we spent just a fantastic night out. Don’t worry about bringing the kids they have stuff for them, check out their website It’s a half an hour from my house but it’s worth the trip. One last thing, they bring you a basket of rolls unlike other places these days and the staff is second to none!

My family has eaten at this place my whole life(first on the corner Liberty and Market, and now at Captain Fantastic’s old location), and to this day remains my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Italian places can be judged based upon how they perform in the four major Italian food groups: pasta, stromboli, hoagies, and pizza. Having had more than a few offerings in each category, I can say with confidence that Valenti’s excels in all areas. The pasta is cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of sauce, which sticks to the pasta and isn’t watery or pools at the bottom of the plate. The strombolis are massive(the«mini» size is at least three meals), with a crispy outside and delicious filling. The hoagies are some of the best in the area and they offer a broad variety of cold/hot options. In case you were wondering, the Buffalo Chicken hoagie is the best(I’ll fight anyone who disagrees). The pizza is large and doughy(none of that thin-crust nonsense) with a generous amount of cheese and toppings. You can also order by the slice and Valenti’s has only expanded its specialty pizza offerings. However, the real pizza test is how it tastes cold the next day after you’ve wrapped up all your leftovers. Once again, the pizza passes the test with flying colors — the dough absorbs the sauce and the cheese holds the whole thing together. Needless to say, it’s even delicious cold. I’ll repeat from the other reviewers that the portion sizes are MASSIVE — you’ll probably end up taking a majority of it home with you. The dinner entrees, for example, come with a bread basket(because gluten free is for chumps), a large salad, then the entrée itself served with a generous helping of fries/pasta, all for around $ 15 a plate. It’s the best deal in the area due in large part to the fact you will be enjoying it for the next several days. You can’t go wrong with Valenti’s, and I’ve never had a bad meal there. All around, Valenti’s is the pinnacle neighborhood Italian restaurant.

I frequent this restaurant at least two times per week. The servers are very friendly and attentive. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. He always makes it a point to personally welcome you to his restaurant. Overall, the majority of meals are spectacular. The portions are huge and the menu is too. Expect to be taking home leftovers. I personally enjoy their lunchtime sandwiches. It’s definitely the place to be in this small town neighborhood.

Best italian place in the area. I grew up eating their food and worked there briefly. Best cheesesteaks, great dinners, wings are phenominal, salads are great, soup is top notch. Burgers, etc, just amazing. I miss the old location on the corner of the Orwigsburg square, but the newer location is definitely nicer inside.

Well it was my first time here and heard they have good food. I will try again, but the cheese steak was horrible. Meat shoved in PIZZADOUGHISNOT A HOMEMADEROLL! Yuck! Too many places in the area do this and think it’s good. Cheese steaks belong on rolls, not soggy weighty pizza dough.

The best cheesesteak in Pennsylvania. I live in Philly and Philly’s can’t even compare. Everything I’ve ever eaten at Valenti’s is absolutely stellar. I wish it were closer!

We have eaten here several times and every time the food and service is excellent. The portion size is large and price is affordable. We have tried their pizza, Stromboli, meals, and salads. Recommend very highly

I’ve been eating here for over twenty years, and the food is consistently good all around as long as you are not expecting chef caliber dining. Although it is commonly thought of as a pizza joint, their sub sandwiches are some of the best around and are LOADED very heavy with meat and cheese — especially compared to most other sub places in this area.

This place has the best buffalo blue cheese chicken in the area. It is great on top of their pizza, shredded in their sandwiches, and best bredded in their wraps(my favorite). I have often been eating another sandwich from somewhere else and thought«I wish I had Valenti’s Buffalo Blue Cheese Wrap.» The prices are great, the service is friendly, and they even carry Leiby’s Ice Cream(one of the world’s very best). A friend of mine once ordered a pizza there, and for whatever reason, part of the order was a little off. They said he should just keep the pizza and come in for the right one for free! I can’t say enough about how great this place is. Bottom line, Valenti’s is fantastic, and this coming from someone who has to drive 30 minutes to get to them.

I dare you to find a better cheesesteak at an Italian restaurant(arguably, anywhere). I double dare you.
