Rural mom and pop diner. The restaurant was very clean and sanitary including the food prep area. My brother and I ate here while on a road trip from Colorado to ohio. We both order a cheese burger. The burger was cooked medium well, seasoned, and had char marks from the grill. The meat was of good quality and was not greasy. The bun was soft and fresh but nothing special. A grown man would eat two of the regular size burgers as they are only ¼ pound of meat. My brother and I shared 3 sides(all seemed to be frozen) spicy curly fries. They were not spicy but they were spiced. I would compare them to Arby’s fries but not as greasy. Mozzarella sticks. Which were cooked all the way threw and taste fine. I don’t know what else to say I love cheese and fried stuff, so… Fried mushrooms(my brother add those to his burger at the table) if you are a fan of mushrooms give them a try. I don’t care for mushrooms so I only ate 1 and it did not convert me. We also got one piece of fried chicken, just so we could give a review. The chicken was prepared fresh for us and took about 15 minutes. It was delicious. Definitely get the fried chicken. We also got two chocolate malts to take on the road with us. Soft serve ice cream, malt powder, whole milk. It was a good malt but like the hamburger bun nothing special. It was husband and wife that serviced us. I’m assuming the owners. They were friendly but not very chatty. I give 4 stars because there is room for improvement. If I ever drive that way again I will stop for chicken and ice cream.
