My goal has been to find the ultimate breaded tenderloin. I’ve been looking for two decades. I’ve eaten a lot of tenderloins, a few very good, most average. I must say, right now, the best I’ve found is the one I had here. I’ll be back for another this coming Tuesday. I’ll give you a complete report.

Stopped in on a Sunday night on a whim. Food was great – all 4 of us were pleased with the service and quality of the food. One diner had the cod dinner, I had the chicken strips appetizer, another had the fried portobella appetizer and the 4th had the chicken bruschetta sandwich. Salad and soup came with 2 of the meals and was excellent.

We had a party of 15 and from the getgo, the waitress wasn’t very kind to us. While we understand accommodating these many people is difficult, there is no reason to treat outsiders in a rude manner. If they can’t handle large tables and treat paying customers with hospitality, then perhaps altering their business model would be beneficial. Food was decent albeit one of the orders was brought to us at the very end of the dinner which was not appreciated.

The food was very sub par for the price. The portions were laughable, and you can find better quality meals at your local Applebee’s. To top off the cake, the waitress was extremely rude, and was consistently unpleasant whether it be taking orders or refilling drinks. As a sending off present, she publicly complained to our group about not making very much money off tips after her atrocious service.

Sat at the bar and it was a neat pub atmosphere. The folks who worked there were very nice and we were well taken care of. I had the wings and really enjoyed them. I will go back if I am in town.

One of the greatest restaurants I have ever been to. I came into town a couple of weeks ago and decided to try this establishment out. My mind was blown! As soon as i walked in i was greeted by some lovely waitresses. The manager named Brad is also a very handsome man. I sat down and ordered my drink. I decided on a bud lite draft and by god it was great. It was cold and crisp. I took a look at the menu and was astounded by the choices i had. You can get anything from chicken to steak to fish. I was bewildered. I got some flint fries for an appetizer and ordered a Sirloin for my main dish. The steak was made by a young Spanish boy named Gus Berry. He was currently a high school student but he seemed like a great chef. I got my food and it was delicious and was comparable to a great steakhouse. I love this place and will definitely be back

Great food, great atmosphere, great people. Had a wonderful time. Just passing through on our travels — will definitely have to come back! Have T-shirts and will wear them proudly! Was there on a Monday night when they happened to have an impromptu karaōke session… GREAT entertainment!

I eat here once a year on the way to the Whispering Beard Folk Festival. I have the lunch buffet because it is pretty darn good. There’s a salad area(with actual lettuce and cold veggies), a dessert/salad area(fruit in jello, pudding, etc.), a couple of soups, and a pretty huge hot bar. I usually fill a plate with veggie-type stuff(lima beans, green beans, corn, maybe soup) to eat first then go back for a smaller plate of the meat-and-carbs items. This year they had pasta with clam sauce, turkey and dressing, roast pork with gravy, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, battered fish, beans and ham, and a few other items on the Friday lunch buffet. It was all pretty tasty. Had I eaten any more, I probably would’ve fallen asleep before getting the campsite up in Friendship. I browsed their menu and was shocked to find brussels sprouts in the appetizer section! It said«pan friend with walnuts and balsamic». Definitely not something I expected to see at «the Grub»(locals call it that). There is a bar but also plenty of family dining. Décor is along the lines of Cracker Barrel meets TGIFriday’s…lots of memorbilia glued to the walls with a redneck/country/local feel. Taxidermied animals, old newspapers, antique lanterns, etc. Some of the bar stools are seats from old fishing boats. It’s that kind of place. Outside there is «found object» metal art… think bits of old cars welded into the shape of Don Quijote. Definitely a neat spot and deserving of a place in «roadside Indiana» lore.

Super cool atmosphere and interior design using architectural salvage. Food was great. They have great diner food and bigger platters for dinner. Next time I eat there, I am gonna have to try the deep fried Brussels sprouts.

Had lunch here, the special of the day was a reuben, not a bad sandwich. My girlfriend was less impressed with the buffalo chicken salad. Seemed to be «The Place» for lunch…

Just happened to be driving through at lunch time and decided to stop. They have an all you can eat buffet for $ 7.95. It was fair. The chicken was just the backs and they were dried out. The pork chops were tasteless. The vegetables were not very attractive. The salad bar was the best thing there. I would not go back.

Generally good food and a great place to go in the area compared to other restaurants. The interior is kind of reminiscent of a Cracker Barrel, while outside has a lot of scrap metal art sculptures that are fun to check out.

Staff was a little slow, but in all fairness they were very busy. Fair food and a good«Olé timey» feel. Good times, good people and a nice place to hang out and enjoy a meal.

Osgood is a small town, but the Grub Co. is a great place to have a meal or just meet your friends at the bar.

I ordered the only thing available for a vegetarian on the menu: grilled cheese. It sufficed. I topped it off with a few beer-battered fries and onion rings and probably a liter of Diet Coke and it almost felt like a meal. I would describe the décor as a low-rent fusion of Cracker Barrel and TGI Friday’s. Outside in the lot, they have some kind of cool sculptures that appear to be made out of rusty farm implements.
