I know I’m on record as not a huge fan of vintage and/​or mid-​century modern, but when I wanted a cute hat with a blusher veil (that nifty netting stuff) for my wedding, I knew just where to go. They have a LOT of hats, so I browsed around very slowly so I didn’t miss any, since they are stuck pretty much everywhere. As I recalled from last time, the owner groused about her partner putting things in precarious places… especially when I finally got unlucky and knocked a bunch of things over. However, she was nice enough not to yell at me and helped me stick everything back somewhere (it didn’t seem to matter where).
I ended up with a super cute sailor-​esque white pillbox with netting — the perfect special something to finish off my wedding outfit. And at just $ 18, I can’t complain. I’ll be hanging onto that hat for a while!

I enjoy mid century modern, so the home wares store is just a delightful place of eye candy for me. It is rather pricey but most items here are kept in great condition, and would be much more expensive elsewhere. The clothing is a great deal for retro wears and it’s always so much fun trying things on. I’d love to update my wardrobe from this place as often as possible. Thanks for being a one of a kind shop in this area.
