Big Apple Bagels

I can’t believe what just happened! This was my first time ever here, and I went up to order 2 bigger chocolate cheesecake muffins, 6 mini muffins, and a turtle mocha. After I got my bag I went to the car and opened it up and saw my 6 mini muffins and a chocolate chip muffin in there. I went back in to exchange my chocolate chip muffin to get two of the cheesecake, grabbed my wallet out to pay the rest, she took the bag back and said alright you’re all set! So I went back to my work to give the mini muffins to my coworkers and she got rid of my mini muffins! I’m so livid. Better yet, my mocha turned out to be a caramel mocha, not what I wanted. I can guarantee I won’t be back. I overpaid for the wrong items. So dissapointed. Just how I wanted to start a 14 hour workday!

I mean, it’s fine. Coffee is serve yourself, but they had several varieties and it was hot, and they had both milk and cream available in pitchers. The coffee area is also the «wait for your food» area, so even with just two of us there, we kind of tripped over each other.
My pet peeve with bagel sandwiches, however, is places that don’t toast the bagel. I just don’t get it. I had a nice piece of sausage, melted American cheese, and scrambled eggs… on a room temperature, un-​toasted bagel. On a toasted bagel, it would have been a really great sandwich.
Atmosphere-​wise, when I walked in, it felt like a Subway. Maybe it was the tile floor and metal chairs? They had a reasonable amount of seating, but some of the tables needed to be wiped off. I sat for a while, and while people came in and out, I didn’t see anyone cleaning tables.
Overall, it was ok. It wouldn’t be my first choice, but the coffee was decent and the food didn’t suck, so I’d probably go back.

The bagel experience here is good if you are into different flavored bagels. The price is somewhat up there but overall not too bad if you get several in a bundle price. The bagels are soft and good. I also have to give them that they have a pretty nice variety of different flavored bagels if that’s your thing. The muffins are a favorite of everyone as well. A solid 3 stars
