Pros: staff does best they can with limited resources.
Con: where shall I begin? Carpeting looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since 1985.
Elevator broke. Be prepared to lug your suitcases up a flight of stairs. S
Exercise room is filthy. No disinfected to clean machines. As a result, treadmill handles feel sticky. Yuck!
Broken treadmill. The other one works -/​but you can set only 2 paces slow mo or super fast.
Also lights don’t stay on in gym.
Room smells like dead cats. When staff moved us to another room, attempted to place us in a room that hadn’t been clean. Used sheets on bed (which they acknowledge). WTF???
Fortunately, helpful staff (only thing reasonably positive to say) who refunded money and helped us find another hotel in area.

The staff was exceptionally friendly. The hotel setup is very nice on the inside. There is a seating area in the lobby and on the second (which overlooks the lobby). There is a rather deep adult pool, a whirlpool, and a kiddie pool, all indoors. The kiddie pool has a nice little airplane slide. The fitness center is pitiful, but I have yet to see one in a hotel that isn’t. The room was more spacious than your average hotel room, however the bathroom clearly suffered to do the size of the room. The beds were certainly not pillow top, but they weren’t terribly uncomfortable. The pillows were, however, too firm. The toilet paper was thinner than a coffee filter, but that’s getting picky. The area is nice. There are many great restaurants not far from the hotel. There is also a nice shopping center right next to the hotel. The free breakfast was definitely adequate, not quite like a Holiday Inn breakfast, but it served its purpose and was, after all, free. I was a bit confused as to where it was at first, but I figured out it was located in the hotel’s restaurant, The Vintage.

Our stay was for a sporting event, we were in a block of rooms that was supposed to be tax exempt, so when we checked in we were given the originally quoted price, but taxes of over $ 12.00 (which isn’t that much, but hey, better to keep that $ 12.00+ in my pocket, right?) also were calculated in, as we later found out we are supposed to be reimbursed the tax money, as we paid in cash, we shall see.
Next, I’ve stayed in many multiple story complexes, and I must tell you if you are healthy you may want to plan on using the stairs to get up and down, because this place has THEE SLOWEST elevator of any of the places I have ever stayed, bar none!!!
And lastly, the free breakfast, it is supposed to last til 10:00am, at right around 8:50am I went in to see what they had, but more then anything for a cup of coffee, there was little or nothing to eat and I was very upset to find that the coffee was empty too. Now I will grant you that there were quite a few people there when we were there, but this is no excuse, if you are going to offer a breakfast then it is up to you to staff and supply the food based on how many folks are in the house. I will tell you that at least there was a Hardees up the road that had my favorite breakfast food, for an additional $ 15.79, but at least I finally got my coffee.
BTW, I don’t usually do many reviews, but I just couldn’t let this get by!!!

It’s a hotel, what do you want?
It’s comfortable, there’s a couple of pretty good restaurants in the place, and the staff was great while I was there. The only bad part is that it’s pretty far from most of Oshkosh, so you have to drive a bit to get somewhere else. We were driving 15 minutes to the client most of the time, so it didn’t matter.
