I had very little in the way of furnishings when I first moved to town. The items I had from my undergraduate college career were hardly fit for«free» posting on Craiglist, let alone hauling them hundreds of miles away to outfit a new apartment. After I got a few paychecks under my belt at my new job, it was not long before I wanted to make my apartment begin to appear as though somebody was actually living there. I did my typical net hound investigating of local establishments as well as asking the advice of coworkers and I finally settled on WG&R First off, they have a huge selection pooled from 5 different locations. They also have everything listed online, which I love. Nearly all of the other furniture stores had meager online selections, and the ones that did only offered a «call for price» instead of just listing what the selling price was. This is undoubtedly in an effort to make a person have to show up and endure a sales pitch. Thanks, but no. WG&R does not actually have an online checkout system unfortunately(causing me to cap on star), but when I showed up to their Oshkosh location I simply gave the clerk the SKU number of the items I wanted and he had me out the door in under 10 min. The extremely pleasant clerk also hooked me up with a 15% discount on the spot for stopping in That is a VERY effective way to earn my future business. Their pricing was already more than fair for what I was needing(bedroom set and living room set), so I was happy to get an additional hook up. They set up delivery for my items a few days out from my purchase date and delivery also includes haul away service of old pieces you have. This was awesome for me as I had a few garage sale items I had bought to tide me over which they removed. All in all this is a great option if you are in the market for new furniture. Low prices, wide selection, and home delivery and set up that is rapid and efficent.
