This is a great barbershop,(official name: Ossining Barber Shop). It is owned by Boris. They are open six days a week(Closed Saturday; open Sunday). There are always at least three barbers ready to cut hair so pretty much never a wait. No appointment required. Boris is always friendly and appreciates your business, but they are focused on doing a great job and getting you on your way. Not a party atmosphere where the barbers chat it up with each other while they cut your hair. They are meticulous in their haircuts and really pay attention to detail. I always get a scissor cut and the price is the same as a regular cut. They shave your neck with a razor– not the machine. Nice touch. And when they’re done you get a neck /shoulder massage with this hand held little vibrating machine which feels great. Price is reasonable so I can go often and always keep myself looking good ;)

This is now Boris’ Barber Shop. My new go to barber. They have 4 full time barbers: owner Boris, a woman, and 2 other men. I’ve had my hair cut by all 3 except Boris himself. Everyone seems to wait for Boris and hogs him, but the others do a great job. Boris is super friendly and always welcomes and says bye. I’ve never had to wait long, if at all. Just walk in. They are closed Saturdays but what’s cool is they are open Sundays, which works well for me. They sell $ 1 cold water bottles. Basic haircut is like $ 14 if I remember. They use a real razor blade to shave your neck. They’ll pamper you if you’re into that, the haircuts include a few minute mechanical massager and I see them put a hot towel on your face for FOREVER for shaves(not uncommon for a man to be snoring under there).
