Professor Julio Cruz is a black belt in Brazillian jiujitsu and has really built a culture at his school that values technique over strength. I started at this school about a year and a half ago after watching my older brother and his now ten year old daughter train. As they say the proof is in the pudding. I’ve lost 46 pounds, competed in a tournament, and developed some great friendships since I’ve been training there. What’s really cool to see is how many parents have started training there after watching their kids train and vice-versa many kids have started training because of their mom or dad. At the end of the day Professor Cruz is a good person, an excellent teacher, and a great motivator. So, if your goal is to get in better shape, to study jiujitsu, or to meet some new friends then come train at Renzo Gracie Westchester in Ossining with Professor Julio Cruz.
