It seemed like a fun place, but one of the goats reached through the fence and pulled out a big chunk of my 2 year olds daughter’s hair when she had her back turned. The goats seemed overly hungry to me, which is concerning. I’ve never seen petting zoo animals clamoring at the fence to get to the food like all of the goats were, despite tons of people feeding them. I question whether they were deliberately fed less so they’d be more responsive to visitors paying to feed them. Unfortunately, this spoiled our afternoon there and we promptly left – $ 20 wasted and my daughter a little more bald.

This was an ok place to visit. There was a lot to do, lines weren’t too bad(except for the big zip line, 1 hour wait). The food was delicious, there are lots of activities to keep kiddos busy. The restrooms were surprisingly clean, like really clean. You may want to wait for a day that’s a little colder to keep the bees away. We only visited for about 45 minutes because our 8 month old baby got stung on the face and I wanted to rush to city limits in case he was allergic. The bees were pretty bad. Like I said, I would’ve liked to explore more, but given the circumstances, couldn’t happen.

Very disappointed this year, we arrived and were ready to pay admission. When we went up to the booth we were told they stopped selling tickets at 4:15. My husband looked down at his phone and it was 4:17, the girl was very rude about it acting as though we arrived after they closed. We were told we weren’t allowed to go in the play areas or any special attractions. We could only go see animals and buy pumpkins. We went to look at animals and they also were selling pies there too. Except they were putting all the food away. It was only 425 at this point. I found it very rude that they are so strict and closing shop up early. We drove 30 minutes to pretty much get rushes out. What family pumpkin patch closes at 5 on the weekends? I think 7 is a conservative time as its still light out. We will not be returning nor our families. Please be aware of arriving on time and early so you get to enjoy yourself.

Had so much fun I took my cousins one is 8 the others are 13 big age difference so I loved that they had things for both. We fed the goats witch are so cute and friendly we did not do the big zip just because we got there a little late b/c we went to this awful pumpkin patch at Circle S Farms but everything was great when we got there. Even though their big kids they let them ride the little kids banana ride they all did the mini zip the pumpkin jump and I truly think their favorite was the corn box don’t ask me why I don’t know but they loved it lol. The food and pumpkins were a little overpriced however we ate before we came and we decided to buy pumpkins from Walmart just to save money and we had a blast I’m so excited to say that we will be going back next year.

I would recommend Leeds Farm for families with young children. There are multiple slides, which was the favorite activity for both my 3 year-old and my 15 month-old. So many different options. Other great activities for young children include petting and feeding the goats and viewing the pigs. Also, the hayride and banana bus ride. So many activities for this young age group. Now if you have older kids, I would say that be weary of a lack of options for older kids. They’ll enjoy the slides and the kids’ zipline(if they’re brave enough), but most of it is better for young children. They do have pumpkins to pick from and a pumpkin jump and pedal cars for older kids, but I really feel like this place is prime for small children. They even have a play area filled with hay bales for children, which our kids loved as well. The food is decent, but mostly contains snack-like food and desserts. I would recommend if you’ll be here a while to pack a lunch and maybe get your dessert here. The pumpkin donut is great! Overall, go here with small children. It’s worth the drive. I can see making this an annual trip out for the next year few years. The slides were enough(variety!) to keep my two kids entertained for a while!

Love this place. Our kids enjoy very minute they are there! Try the apple cider slushy, it’s so good.

I told my partner I wanted to go pick pumpkins for Halloween, and he surprised me with Leed’s. I brought my 3 year old son and we came late September. There were a good number of people here but it wasn’t congested. We saw the pigs and fed the goats, bought pumpkins and ate lovely chocolate chip pie. I thought the pumpkins were decently priced and had a better shape to them, than those oblong things at kroger and giant eagle. As for the other attractions we didn’t do them. My son was way too small to really play with everything in the play yard. And for 10 bucks I wasn’t gonna pay to have other kids knock him down and pay 16 for me and my partner to watch. Although it was pricey I still only paid for pumpkins and pie. I wouldn’t come here if you have kids that are going to demand to play and cost you even more money.

I am booking our staff party here because on the two occasions I have gone to Leed’s Farm in the past, we LOVED the experience. We have some staff members with children ages 1 – 11, so they are likely to have the MOST fun. I believe I will take a couple decks of cards and some board games for the adults without children. If you have kids or grandkids, you’re going to love this place! BTW, the no-charge policy for people over age 55 is really nice.

This is my review of Leed’s farm from the perspective of someone in their mid-20s going with friends. When I first heard of Leed’s Farm I was excited to go there for one and one reason only: zip-lining! After a 40-minute trip from Columbus, I arrived at the farm. Here is my experience. Parking: Parking is free, which makes sense if you are parking in the middle of a field. I’m not sure what I expected when I drove here, but there is no paved lot. You have to drive through a lot of pedestrian traffic to park, and if you don’t get their early, you’re in for quite a walk. Also, the lot didn’t seem to have any sort of marking system so you’re just going to have to hope you remember the general area where you parked, or utilize a car alarm to locate your ride. Admission: admission is 7 dollars. I can’t say if this is a fair admission price, as I have not been more than a couple farms. Considering this doesn’t include the hayride(keep reading) I think 5 dollars may be more appropriate. Zip-lining: I got to the farm three hours after opening, and the line for the zip-line was an hour long. The zip-line itself is 400 feet long. It looks a lot smaller in person(and makes me wonder if that number is accurate). As far as the ride itself: it was fun, but I don’t think it is worth the trip. The zipline is short, so the fun lasts less than 30 seconds. If this is your only reason you’re going, save your money for a Cedar Point trip instead! Hayride: the hayride is two dollars. I think this would be appropriate if the admission price was reduced, but oh well. The ride is fun, but it’s mostly kids under five. They have stuffed animals along the trail so that kids think they’re going on a wild hay ride… definitely not entertaining for teens or adults. There is also little hay in this hayride. You’re basically in a truck wagon with two or three bales of hay in the middle for sitting on. Animals: the day I went, they only had piglets out, and not in a petting zoo format. I pet them anyway(c’mon, they’re adorable). Not really that exciting in terms of the farm animal exposure. Eating: they have home-made pies and other foods at the upstairs of a barn on the farm. If you’re going on a budget, I would suggest just packing food. Pumpkins: ah, the reason the farm exists! The pumpkins seemed to be fairly priced. You don’t get to go in a field to pick them though. They’re kept in a shed-like building by the entrance to the farm. There are other attractions at this farm. The website is really good at letting you know what to expect. If you’re going with kids, and ONLY if you’re going with kids I think this is a great trip. Teens would probably get bored, and a lot of the ones I saw at the farm were bored. If you’re going just for the zip-line, I would say it’s not worth paying seven dollars and waiting an hour in line. Verdict: I would recommend going someplace else.
