Andrew’s Wine Cellar

As a whiskyphile, this place is my idea of heaven. Andrew’s got, in his own words, ‘the geekiest selection’ of wines and fine spirits around, especially given its location. The selection isn’t especially broad, but it DOES demonstrate a great deal of quality and depth. No bottom-​shelf mixers here, only good stuff. The proprietor is also quite knowledgeable and helpful if you need recommendations. If you’re a scotch hound or bourbon fanatic, you won’t go wrong. Prices aren’t super cheap, but this is a specialist shop and it doesn’t take the volume approach to business like most liquor stores do. I make it a point to stop in here whenever I’m passing through Oswego, and usually I leave with two or three bottles.

A very nice wide selection of wine and even support the local makers… plus the main guy that works there is well knowledgeable.
