Decent place for some ice cream that isn’t Blue Bell. Proportion to price is good, as well as a good selection in the menu and helpful service. Best part was the placement and view of the lake. You’d be hard pressed to find a better place with the combo.

Bevs is the place spot to grab some frozen yogurt, sit on a bench and enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Ontario. Parking can sometimes be difficult, as it is located on Route 89 which can be fairly busy at times. People walk around the area with their dogs, solo or with their families. It is walking distant to Oswego’s campus which is really convenient. The have a decent amount of flavors, but you can’t go wrong with a vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles, the best. They are only open from the end of April to the beginning of August, I believe.

Bev’s has been there a long time, usually catching the Rudy’s overflow. Nothing special here, in fact the quality has declined over the years as they used to have great shakes. It’s down the road from Oswego University, great lakeside view.

Bev’s isn’t anything special in terms of ice cream, its soft serve with the typical road side ice cream stand offerings, but its way better than eating a cone at Rudy’s and the view is incredible, Bev’s for a sunset is pretty ideal.

$ 2.85 for a generic «shake» substance with artificial strawberry flavor mixed in? I wish I had known ahead of time so I could’ve ordered something else – or gone somewhere else.
