Do NOT go to this place when it’s packed.(All in all there’s 5 tables in the whole place) we waited 20 min for a menu, 45 minutes for our food(we got eggs) and it was COLD! We saw it sitting it there for 15 minutes before the waitress noticed. The best part was when they asked us to move to a different table mid meal. awful service!!! Have not decided if I’m coming back here ever again.

Now that’s what I’m talking about. Spinach Florentine omelet done just right, home fries and toasted Italian bread. Eccentric, funny older fellow wanders out to make sure you’re doing ok, and you’d better be, because I have a feeling he can dish out more than perfect omelets if he decides you don’t have a sense of humor.

Affordable. Generous portions. Small town atmosphere is nice unless you’re in a hurry.

It was our first visit here and will plan to return whenever we are in town! My breakfast was exactly what I ordered — and my husband’s was HUGE. Both were delicious and we were both very happy! Thanks Mom & Pop’s!

This is my favorite place in Oswego, hands down. The staff are all extremely friendly and Carl is downright hilarious. They have a great old-diner atmosphere and plenty of Coca-Cola memorabilia. It can take some time to get your order if they are busy, but it’s always worth the wait. Very family-friendly and quite delicious.

I loved this place when it first opened, so when a bunch of alumni friends and I were in town last summer, we went there for breakfast. The place looked like it hadn’t been dusted since my last visit 5 years ago. The coffee mugs they handed us were dirty, and the service was rough– forgotten items, needed to ask for forks, etc. Plus with only one cook in the kitchen, it took nearly an hour for 7 people to get food. Sure the price is right, but sometimes you get what you pay for. It made me sad because I thought they had a good thing going! I really hope they can succeed, but it’s going to take literal elbow grease to get me back there when there are so many other options in town.

I was really surprised to see such positive reviews for this restaurant, if you want to even call it that. Clearly, there is some bias going on here. I went here once and will never go back. Went once about a year ago and asked if the one person who worked there, an older gentleman who I assume was the owner, if they had a Reuben on the menu. The gentleman acted very offended I would even ask, saying something obnoxious like«uhh, do pigs fly?» And«what kind of place do you think you walked into?» I kind of shrugged it off at first. Then I asked if they cut their corned beef for the Reuben thinly because that is how I really like a Reuben and he looked at me again very rudely and said I was offending him. He said it of course would be, but then when I got it, it was not cut thin at all and was extremely messy, had way too much thousand island dressing and was not good at all. It also was very expensive and there was, what I could only assume was an underage helper, there that the owner was arguing with the whole time. Very bad atmosphere(we were the only customers there btw), rude owner, bad food and high prices all equal STAYAWAY!

Carl and the girls are great people to visit for a bite. Not to mention he’ll put together just about anything you can put in your face! Ask for a breakfast garbage plate!

IF you like a family friendly atmosphere, you will love this place! Sonny in the morning, Carl in the afternoons and the various wait staff are all very nice. The food, well, an eighteen year old said to me, I think I found a place that almost gives you too much food(then he laughed). It was nice to take some home for ‘late!’ The parking lot is small, but there are spaces on the street and around both corners, so parking is no issue. The sodas are old-fashioned malt shoppe style. A fun place to visit.

Carl and crew are so very friendly. Service is good, food is excellent. Try the fresh turkey dinner, the onions rings and the the fresh cut french fries. Their ham is fresh and is fantastic on the grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. Prices are more than reasonable and portions are crazy big… hear that SUNY Oswego???

The food is quite good but the service is astounding. Before I finished my first meal there I was already planning on a second.

I have been here about 3 times. The service is incredibly friendly. It’s a good place to go for a full breakfast. There is a small parking lot available to the left of the eatery. Sometimes tough to get in and out of, but it is nice to have off-street parking available.
