After reading about the Research Center online and emailing for hours, I traveled to this location when in the area (1300 miles from home) to do some basic research. In the clerk’s office, they told me they only had LAND DEEDS and that if i wanted any birth/​death records I had to go to the CITY clerk’s office. She suggested if I wanted wills I could go to the courthouse. When I got to the City clerk’s office they said they had nothing in the years I wanted and that I could try the Health Department.
It was apparent to me the «hand doesn’t know what the foot is doing» in this Oswego Records Center operation? I left empty-​handed and disgruntled from the runaround among buildings within the city.
