I love this place. Aimee is very friendly. She listened to what I wanted. I loved my haircut. The place was very clean and inviting.
A little more money then I usually spend but I got a much better cut.

she knows my tastes and styles and uses it to help me decide what i want.
her staff is always helpful and caring.

Amee has been my colorist and stylist for many years. I’m excited to be the first to review her brand new solo venture SALON 1.
Located in a beautiful ~brand new salon suites building, just off of Rt. 34 in Oswego. There is a huge parking lot adjacent to the offices (free of charge).
Her upscale and intimate salon suite offers all the expected hair care services with the personal touch you won’t find at a Mario T salon. Amee is a great listener and has a very talented eye both for color and texture. Not only is she a miracle worker with damaged and chemical treated hair (AKA me) but she’s savvy in creating stylish and sophisticated up-do’s.
Amee did my updo in February for my wedding. By showing her a few photo’s I’d pulled from bride magazines and talking through my vision of what I hoped it would look like, she was able to bring to life a really graceful style, complete with flowers worked in. I’m attaching pics from the occasion and I’m sure you can see what a great job she did!
Amee has a very loyal client base — as many of her customers (like me) have followed her from salon to salon for years. It’s so exciting to see her branched out on her own now. If you’re ever out in the south west suburbs and needing a cut, color, or special occasion stylist you MUST check her out!
