Val’s Carpet Repair

I found Val’s on Unilocal.Anthony called back right away, told me his time frame, said he’d call if he had an opening sooner than planned, and did great work at a very fair price. We have old carpeting that needs to be replaced, but that’s just not in the budget yet. Anthony fixed 3 spots where the seams were pulling apart for a very reasonable price, pulling up a like-​new piece from a small closet to use for his patching, and replacing it with a piece he had on his truck. In 16 years, I didn’t even know that closet was carpeted, so the fact that his piece doesn’t match the nearby carpet exactly doesn’t matter at all. It’s dark in there, mostly covered up, and has tile on the outside of the door track. I can’t recommend Val’s enough. If we can manage new carpeting next year, we’ll be calling Val’s.

I have used Val’s before for carpet stretching. He always does a great job. This time we had a water leak and my carpet had to be pulled up and dried out. Val’s was here right away to lay it back down so my house could get back to normal. Thank you!

I had a ~2’x3’ section of carpet that was damaged by some extremely heavy furniture that sat on it for years. I contacted Val’s carpet repair and Anthony had me scheduled for a repair the next day. He was friendly, responsive, and did a great job on the replacement patch. Best of all the job was cheap. I would not hesitate to recommend Val’s Carpet for a repair job, and it seems very likely that they would do at least as well on a new installation job.

Top Notch. Anthony showed up on time, was very friendly and professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I put in new laminate flooring myself and wanted to resuse the carpet we took out. Anthony installed the carpet and even had to make a few repairs. You can’t tell where he patched the carpet.

Anthony did what he said he would do. It seems simple, but so hard to find. I called and Anthony answered the phone and asked me what I needed. I told him. We set an appointment and he arrived on time to measure my basement, show me samples, and give me a price. Then we scheduled a day to get the work done. Anthony and his team showed up on time and installed carpet in my basement, and it looks beautiful! I am very pleased with home my basement looks!

Tony saved us a ton of money when installing new carpeting for our basement. We already had brand new upgraded padding from the upstairs carpeting that we planned to use in the basement after we installed hardwood floors on the main level of our newly built home. No one we called would use the padding we already had. They said it would «void» the warrenty if they used our existing padding. Tony was the only one willing to come out and look at the existing padding for the basement. He agreed to use the existing padding since it was «the cadillac» of carpet padding and it would be a «sin» to throw it away. You can imagine how upset we were to think we would have to discard expensive padding and purchase additional padding for the basement carpeting. It was just not figured in our budget.
Tony did a beautiful job carpeting the basement floor and steps. The entire basement was transformed. You cannot even see where the seams are. He has many years of experience and takes his job very seriously.
I have highly recommended him to everyone I know. Very relieved and very happy with the job.

First off, they answer their phone and then they show up as scheduled. Anthony repaired my carpet and told me the pros and cons of repair versus replacement. Carpet looks good in the repair spots.
