Fast service, decent food, fair prices. The steak fries were pretty awesome. I’d go back but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Just left after the best $ 4.95 breakfast in the area. It’s a early morning special of 2 eggs, choice of breakfast meats, hashbrowns, and toast. Great service from an overloaded server who managed to keep things moving in a very busy place. And to top it off, security was provided by 4WSP mounted patrol officers sharing our space. Makes one feel very secure.

Had the fish and chips it was just awful. It was over cooked. They knocked 15% off the meal. I will not be eating there again.

First thing first: If I was reviewing this place solely on food, I would give it two stars, maybe three, because to me, it is huge portions of mediocre food. It’s not horrible, but there isn’t anything special about the food here, in my opinion. I have not tried every item on the menu, and it may be worth just go back and try some pancakes or other breakfast items. The reason I give it four stars is because of the wonderful customer service. The staff understands the balance between being welcoming, but not overly invasive. For me, it is usually about the food, but these guys do such a great job at what they do and make you feel like they are appreciative of your patronage. We will be back, and we will try a few more items on the menu to see if we can give it another star.

What a wonderful place to eat, the folks working there are nice, not phony, not pretentious, just regular nice people. I believe our waitresses name was Jessica, a real Gem. Thanks. The food was great too, it’s not the Ritz so I did not expect as much but it was filling and tasty and for a reasonable price… Thumbs up.

Always love going to the Otis grill. Milkshakes are two glasses full and very tasty. I love their burgers for lunch or a large omelet for breakfast. I go all the time and have always had great service.

Excellent local grill. I had the jalapeño burger(tasty!) my wife had the Reuben(good sauerkraut– not too much vinegar) and the kids had mini-corn dogs and Mac & Cheese. The fries(steak fries with bottomless refills) are hot and seasoned and very good with their homemade ranch dressing. The food is hot, tasty and quick to the table. It’s lunchtime on a weekday, 60−70% full and the waitstaff is very attentive and friendly. This is an excellent local grill and I’d recommend it to anyone as a primo lunch spot.

We were looking for something with moderate price and distance from us. We found Otis Grill which had some pretty good reviews, and decided to give it a shot. There were only about 3 other tables filled while we were eating, but the waitress still seemed preoccupied by something. The food was delivered very quickly, however. The food was what I like to call a ‘-merica meal’. I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans with a slice of Texas toast garlic bread. We very much had a carb overload when we got done. The food was alright, definitely nothing special, but it was alright. As another review said, you can tell it mostly came from a can or freezer, but regardless, it’s a good place to get a cheap warm meal.

Usually I give big long reviews but in this case I won’t. Your basic coffee shop/diner food done right, don’t expect home-made(many things are frozen, canned or out of mixes) but everything was mighty tasty. I would certainly go back.

As crowded as the place was, I thought I was in for a treat. WOW, I was mistaken. Bland food and mediocre service for us. On the plus side the a place you can afford to take the family for a hot meal.

One of the worst meals I have ever had. The french dip was a processed frozen meat with a dry french onion soup aus jus. Still not sure what the meat was. The wife had fish that was overcooked to the point of overly dry and almost black. Obviously frozen fish. the cooks are always outside smoking. They must deep fry or reheat. Nothing there is fresh. The lettuce in the salad was old and disgusting. we are still sick today and have vomited. Definently filing a health complaint with the state. AVIODTHISESTABLISHMENTATALLCOST.

(This review may be a little long, but if I am rating a five star, then I should give an adequate review) If I could tell you how great this place was in one word, it would have to be: YUM! I went to the Otis Grill with my family over Memorial Day weekend. I remember it being the Burger Barn(which kinda saddened me that the Burger Barn is no longer) so walking in brought back memories. The place was clean and fairly busy for a week day morning(granted it was a holiday weekend). The wait staff noticed us immediately and told us to find a table of our choice. Walking through the dining room, I noticed it was very clean. We all ordered breakfast(Chicken fried steak with hash-browns, eggs, and toast; Biscuits and gravy with hash-browns and choice of meat; eggs, hash-browns, choice of meat and toast). ITWASAMAZING! The chicken fried steak was HUGE and really good, tender with(what I am guess are Panco) breadcrumbs; all covered with country gravy. The hash-browns were perfect(crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside) and the eggs were cooked perfectly too(over medium with no runny whites)!! But the best part was the sourdough toast. It was definitely homemade bread. So good. Actually if there was anything to complain about it was that I would have toasted the bread a wee bit longer but it was good all the same! You just don’t find homemade bread in restaurants anymore now days, so it was a pleasant surprise! My sister’s biscuits and gravy was awesome too! The biscuits were obviously made from scratch and the country gravy was perfectly seasoned and not a gloppy coagulated mess like most of the breakfast places tend to be! Nope, one might say that it put my Mom’s to shame(but shhhh, don’t tell anyone I said that)!! It had awesome flavor and a little on the spicy side which was a nice surprise! I tried to figure out what it was but couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Hmmm. :) Overall the food was amazing and very flavorful! The service was great(she was very attentive and nice) and everything was really clean(I even peaked into the kitchen area and it was very clean) which, I think, tends to make the experience that much better! The prices were comparable to a Shari’s or Perkin’s but MUCH better and the portions were HUGE! One could say you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck! Overall I give this place FIVE stars. I have only been the once, but I will definitely be going back again! I almost don’t want to tell people about it, because then it will get overrun! But really, take the extra travel time to go, you won’t be disappointed!

Went back last weekend and were not disappointed. Everyone here is so genuinely nice; I bet Otis Orchards would be a nice place to live. We had a Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich and a French Dip, both with salads. All were as delicious as we had expected. The whole place is very clean and open feeling. It’s easy to feel right at home here. If you’re in the area, definitely give this place a try.
