I have gone here many times to swap my winter and regular tires. No other shop can beat the price, and the technicians have always done a great job. Farm & Fleet also has a good work wear section, and with decent prices. In particular, there are some great deals at the end of the season.

Their products are great but they really need some improvement in the customer service department. Attitudes are so negative and surly. They sent me two left feet on an order of boots and you would think I was the one that made the mistake!

My Grandmother worked here, My parents worked, and meet here, my sister as well as myself all worked here as well, it’s a pretty big family institution! I left here in 2001 on bad terms, and I did not return for almost 5 years as a customer, time went on I started to stop in from time to time, and still to this day I see people I worked with, and I even see people my grandmother worked with! The day shift staff is very knowledgeable, and most have worked here for years, night shift is mostly high school part timers who have only been employed for a few months. All that aside it is a unique shopping experience this store has something for everybody, from Candy, to gifts, to tires, to tractor parts, and animal feed.

If you’re from the city(or even a suburb), don’t miss a chance to visit a Farm & Fleet store. I discovered the Ottawa store about 20 years ago, but became a full-time fan when I moved here 3 years ago. This store has great clothing(from Carharrt work wear to Lee’s denim), good deals on shoes, appliances, tools, and even stuff for farmers, ranchers and horse people! It’s fun. What do I always buy? Their private line of nut meats is always good… and cheaper than any other store around.

If you’re reading this while on a lap top in a starbucks in Lincoln Park. You’ll probably never even see a Farm and Fleet, let alone go to one. This is okay though. I found F&F to have a great selection of work wear at very agreeable prices. They also carry a good selection of tools and rigging equipment, although their welding equipment selection sucks.
