I contacted the curator of this event for a local craft show in my area. I knew I was a little behind the ball on a request to see if a space was available but figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. The lady I spoke with who must be the one in charge was the rudest person I have ever spoken to on the phone. I was cut off by her 3 words into introducing myself with a «NO» She then collected herself and said «well go ahead it depends on what you make.» I wanted to hang up the phone right then and there but gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking we all have bad days. I explained that I make a natural skin and body care line and that I am a licensed massage therapist who would be interested in selling my product and also offer free chair massage in my booth. She immediately replied with a blatant scoff and another «NO’ and hung up the phone on me. Unbelievable. I am a huge supporter of artisans and crafters but I’m sad to say I will never be a patron of ANY of this companies sponsored events.

This woman is psychotic. Ive never exhibited at a craft show before, and she made sure to make this experience as uncomfortable as possible. To start off, she told me my craft was great and to send her pictures. After sending her pictures, she accused me of store buying my craft that takes me hours for just one piece. She didnt ask any questions and just denied me being in the show claiming my craft was «not the right look» for her show. I called back because I was really upset, and thats when she accused me of store buying. I then had to send her pictures of my materials, and me doing my craft. Not a problem…
Got «accepted», and went to the show. Saw some really cool vendors, and some not so great vendors. One thing that got me was that there was an AVON cosmetics vendor… im wondering if that woman really made AVON products… lol. All that aside, the show was pretty much dead. I barely made my money back on buying the table space. Most of the vendors were very friendly, but the lady who runs this business took a little bit of my soul with every encounter… lol, she was just not right in the head. If you’re looking to exhibit your hand made craft, find a better company with more of a following… this lady isnt worth your troubles.
