It appears that the owner has abandoned this business. The couple that is running the front desk in the owner’s absence is difficult to deal with and that’s being kind. I had an issue with the framing of a canvas print that I brought in (it was not stretched properly) and I was told that the issue was my fault. I asked if it could be re-​stretched as it was obviously loose and wrinkled. They refused and said it was the humidity in my home that was causing the problem (the print was wrinkled before I took it home). «There’s nothing that could be done». «The owner is out of town and is not available to discuss the issue». «I should take the print to another framer if I’m not happy».
I asked for a refund and they said I would have to talk to the owner. They did not know when I would be able to talk to him because he was out of town travelling.
The gallery has many fine works on display from local artists but I would avoid doing any business with this firm.
