I am from Birmingham, AL and was visiting family in Iowa for the week. They took us to Tequila Grill for dinner last night and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the food. We have eaten at many different Mexican food restaurants in our city and other cities on vacation, but I would say that this is one of the best I have had. The cheese dip was the perfect consistency and the salsa was great too. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was incredible. I will definitely go there again when visiting here and would highly recommend it. Pretty affordable too.

Honestly? How is there this good of a Mexican restaurant in Ottumwa? Easily some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Ordered the shrimp and steak dish, which was only $ 13.50. Steak was seasoned to perfection and tender. Shrimp were excellent. Veggies were crisp. And to top it off, service was exceptional. I’ll be back for sure.

Relatively good Mexican food for Southeast Iowa, worth the drive from Fairfield. Big menu, they have what you are craving. The food has good flavor and presentation. Great service, nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

This place was amazing! I’m from Arizona and get the opportunity to enjoy a lot of Mexican food, but this was one of the best. The fajitas were very well seasoned and plentiful. The beer specials were fantastic, and the service was fast and attentive. This will definitely be a return destination.

Great food! Coming from Chicago you are used to good Mexican food. Was weary at first. Will definitely come back. I find my self in Ottumwa for work from time to time. Staff was friendly.
