A neighbor said they have used them for years and they do good work so we called to take care of a hornets nest in our tree. Thad was very responsive and a nice guy. He put on his new suit and was so quick to remove the nest nothing escaped. He was also able to keep the branch without damaging it which we’d hoped for. Excellent work and friendly service. I’ll use them again when we have a pest control need!

They do a nice job of pest control for bugs I’m sure. They are friendly, clean and prompt. However, I was told we had a minor mouse issue and they sent someone out who threw out a few poison traps and some «spider» glue traps. We did smell something (dead mouse in the walls) and also found mouse fur on a chewed up spider trap. About two weeks later I opened the pantry and a mouse jumped out at me. I called and got an answering machine, because they close at 5pm. I went to home depot and took care of the problem myself with traps, spray foam (to cover holes) and a few other items totalling about $ 50. It was cheaper and worked much better. So if you have rodents, I suggest someone who will trap them and cover outside holes rather than just throw out some poision. Getting rid of them for good is the key, not just poisoning a few to attract more with the smell of dead mice.

I’d caught a couple of mice in my mom’s basement and was afraid she had an infestation. I called Augustine’s for an appointment and they sent Jim out. He was professional, direct and informative. He gave a thorough inspection, looking for points of entry, and told me the problem wasn’t bad enough for his services and he gave instructions about what I could do to take care of the problem myself. I asked open-​ended questions about possible bug problems and again he said he hadn’t seen anything I should worry about. He not only didn’t try to up-​sell me, he saw no reason to come back at all. Then he didn’t charge for the visit. I will know to trust them when they do recommend something.
