Avon Mega Store

I like the convenience of just walking into a store and getting what you need, rather than placing an order with your co-worker’s neighbor’s daughter & then waiting several days for the stuff to be delivered. They are a campaign or two behind the catalog sellers, and don’t carry everything; but that doesn’t matter for my staples list (Skin So Soft, gel pencils.) The store is roomy, inviting, & well laid out for browsing.

I’ve always liked Avon; they have good quality and good sale prices. Even the regular prices can still be very reasonable.
I really like this store and the management. I had found a number of things online, forgetting that this store was available. I emailed my list and asked if they could match the online prices (some were major sale items!), and they matched every one (the way Avon works, is that it can be on sale one ‘campaign’ and full price the next… it depends on when they order it to what price the store paid, I believe). They had the order bagged and ready for me when I came by the very next day! That actually saves me a little money (and memory cells) from having to go through the store to get it. I LOVED that, and that upgraded this to a FIVE STAR review.
The few items they didn’t have in stock, they ordered for me, and called me the moment they were in.
Each thing I purchased is great quality, from the lip balms and hand creams/​lotions, to the bubble bath (yummm!), to the numerous jewelry items I purchased. It’s not your mom’s or grandma’s Avon! The young ladies that have been working when I’ve come in are very nice, too.
The location is very convenient, just off Quivira and 435 at College Blvd. They also have a great rewards program where you get $ 10 off after purchasing $ 100!

I don’t use a ton of Avon products, but they carry Skin So Soft and a retinol lipstick I really like. I have a lot of aunts, so this is a good place for gifts, and they offer gift wrapping for less than $ 1, so that’s awesome! Anyway, there are a lot of products in store and more you can order through the catalog. Right now, I’m looking at a Mark green iPad case, looks just like a 60’s mod purse repro.

I love ordering Avon online and then just picking it up at this store at my convenience. Also, it’s great to just go in and try products to remember which was your favorite or your new favorite. They don’t carry everything from the catalogs. However, you can get on their email list and about once a month or so they send you «extra» savings.
