I was very impressed with the service at Brookside Optical in Overland Park. I brought a pair of glasses in that I had purchased elsewhere, and Brookside Optical graciously adjusted them for me, free of charge. More than that, I was impressed with the salesperson’s knowledge. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable, and I really liked the store’s policies. It seemed like a top notch optical shop.

I recommend Brookside Optical highly. I have multiple eye and allergy problems and developed a rash from some frames. Leon (the owner of Brookside) worked me for months. My glasses are now an asset — rather than a liability and I’ve had numerous compliments on them. They are «pricey» but «you get what you pay for.» For a discount, use promo code #lll9. My neighbor and her husband always have on the most stylish eyeglasses. When it came time for me to get a new prescription, they pointed me here. I was pretty nervous because they told me right off that this place is pricey.
The pair I bought was fairly low in price. Not «Lenscrafters low,» but low compared to their other styles. That’s OK, I have worn my glasses for two years and I still love them.
I don’t normally go out in public with my glasses on, but my kitty thinks they are über stylish!
