Huge selection, but not a single employee that is willing to even look in your direction. I couldn’t get any help, so I’ll take my business elsewhere. There are too many options to waste your time at this store.

The employees in this location are far too busy talking to their buds and each other to help customers that need assistance. I don’t recommend shopping here if you need help. If you want to come in for something quick maybe it’s a place for you if you don’t mind poor service.

This is the best store to try before you buy. I was looking for a driver and spent an hour hitting every demo driver they had. The GS consultants weren’t pushy and always gave me the information I wanted. The shot tracker showed I was hitting one driver 40 more yards than any other so I had to have it, but the demo was the only one on the floor. Rich went in the back and found a brand new one just off the FedEx truck and I got the internet sale price. Great selection of pre-owned too with prices similar to the e-tailers, but at GS you can try them out. Very accommodating with returns as well.

Golfsmith has quickly become my favorite place to shop for clubs, apparel, and all things golf. Their prices are excellent and customer service is great too. There is nothing worse than being attacked by overzealous employees at a store like this who want to oversell, overcharge, and overestimate your golf abilities. The pros at GS keep their distance but are friendly, knowledgable, and helpful when needed. Other great features here include a great selection of both new and used(extremely well-priced) clubs, an indoor range to try any club you’d like, and a huge putting green to hone your skills.

Pretty sick store if you need anything Golf. Their biggest store in the nation to date is here in Overland park. And it’s sure a doozy. However, if you are into Tennis, there is also a huge tennis section as well. I personally find the selection of used clubs to be incredible for a national chain. I picked up a used R73 wood for $ 50 last year. It’s totally been one of my favorite clubs. The driving range here is also insanely useful. They have all of the newer«True Feel» synthetic mats for club testing. I fell in love with the R7 there, and the performance carried over to the range and ultimately to the fairways. If you’re a golf fan and you’ve been postponing the trip, it’s time to get with the program!
