I was ok with Subway, they did ok sandwiches, but last year when we moved to Liberty, my son bought me a Jimmy Johns. and I was hooked, the Multigrain bread, meat and veggies were Fresh, Tasty, and yes Freaky Fast, This is my New Favorite place to get a quick and Awesome Sandwich, not to mention their own chips… Do yourselves a favor give em a try…

We ordered a couple sandwiches to be delivered. I ordered online. They were delivered in a reasonable amount of time. NOT freakin fast, but acceptable. The sandwiches were made as ordered. What more can a person want? Worth doing again, for sure.

The service was freaky fast, friendly, and helpful, while the dining area was fairly clean, and small, with good background music. Most importantly, they didn’t skimp on the meat and toppings, and the bread was fresh, and tasty. Very nice.

Good consistent chain place. Better than Subway by far! Best value for the money for a chain Sandwich shop!

I am so done with this place. I like Jimmy John’s, but this location just sucks. I go here because it’s close and when the order is correct it’s good. I’ve prepared myself for the order to be a bit wrong(missing extra lettuce or mustard or cheese). This time was the last time. Took a bite, no mustard. Oh look, no cheese. Oh hey, that is turkey instead of ham. Really, three things screwed up?! Come on! My husband kindly and willingly offered to get out fixed. They made a new sandwich and kept apologizing. The new one was correct. However, I couldn’t finish it. The mustard was all glopped in one spot, the bread was soggy and the cheese was soft and kinda slimy. But I won’t tell my kind hearted husband that. So, definitely not going to this location anymore.

So, I just had my very first(and last) Jimmy John’s experience. I had heard from several people how great their subs were and I finally got around to trying one. I just moved near one and just discovered that they deliver, so I thought, why the heck not. I don’t even have to get out of my pj’s. The sandwich itself was just okay. The disappointing part was, it took them OVERANHOUR to make it and deliver it 2 blocks away. Literally 2 blocks. They’re at 82nd and Metcalf. I live at 82nd and Walmer. Won’t be doing that again.

Mixed up my order with someone else’s, put tomatoes on when I specifically asked for no tomatoes, way slower than subway or goodcents.

I had three workers working on a project at home. I called at 11am to order sandwiches for lunch. An hour later, I was still waiting for their sandwiches to be delivered. I finally called and they said they wrote down my phone number and address wrong. They said they would deliver the sandwiches right away. 5 minutes later, the manager called and said they were not able to find my house which is on 80th street — only two blocks away from them. How can you mess up twice!!! The workers were hungry for doing labor work all morning and I felt bad for them. I should have gone there myself but couldn’t leave the guys alone. Finally, a guy shows up and hands me the sandwiches — 1HOUR and FIFTEENMINUTESLATER. And I was not even compensated for anything, even though I was nice to them the whole time. Still ended up paying the full price plus the delivery charge. Not that I need anything from them, but if I were the manager, I would have been embarrassed and would have done everything to show my appreciation and thanked the guy for his patience.

Freaky fast awesome sandwiches. If you want a sandwich in your hands before you are done ordering, then Jimmy John’s is the place for you. The bread is great, the meat and veggies fresh. What more could you want?

They got my order wrong not once, but twice in a row. I read each ingredient item on the sign, ordered my sandwich as meat and cheese only rather specifically. they asked if I wanted oregano which I said yes to, that sounded good. I got my sandwich and it had tomatoes and mayo on it. which is not meat and cheese only. So they remade it. The guy verbally confirmed with me, three items on bread. oregano, meat, cheese. and made it immediately He only got two of the items in the sandwich. Sheesh. Talk about attention to detail.

Hmmm… I really thought I had already reviewed this JJ’s, but maybe not… Well, here we go! This is the nearest Jimmy John’s to my home, however I believe I am a tad out of their delivery area. Bummer. Like most Jimmy John’s, this store is efficient and appears to be clean. The employees are always friendly and offer a friendly«welcome to Jimmy John’s» when you walk through the door. My favorite order is the number 9(Italian night club), and when I really want to splurge I will include salt and vinegar kettle chips. Yummy!

They don’t answer the phone for delivery. On the rare occasion that they do answer the delivery is the furthest thing from fast I have ever experience. Freaky and and bad service

After a few run ins with ol Jimmy Johns about delivery areas and whatnot, this location finally decided they would deliver to my job. I usually get the Italian Night Club on wheat. The sauce is where it is at… oregano, vinegar and oil. Mmmm. I picked up an order recently and due to my inability to discern when I am full, I ordered two sandwiches. Actually, one was an unwich. I got the Hunter’s club(roast beef) in a lettuce wrap. I think I liked it better than the Night Club. They said they no longer offer sprouts… I was confuzzled by this. Those things can germinate overnight… why the shortage? Anyway…as long as they are offering the sauce and continue to deliver to my job, I support this location.

I always forget about this place because it’s not exactly close to where I work. I never even knew there was one near my house until I saw it the other day. I like their fresh baked bread and fresh sliced meat, 2 hallmarks of a great sub. Their ingredients are very fresh and tasty, unlike that one place. What’s it called? The place that pre-packages, pre-sliced meat thingys? Subpar? Noway? You know who I mean. Still not a 5 star sub like Jersey Mike’s or Baldino’s Giant Jersey Subs. But I’m never in Olathe, Oklahoma City, or Atlanta anymore.

When they say«freaky fast» they really do mean it. Whether I’ve gotten delivery, or I’ve been there to watch it get made in person, being fast with making sandwiches is JJ’s hallmark, like returning your change and getting you out the door is Quiktrip’s hallmark. Two points about JJ’s: 1. Why don’t you guys have hot sandwiches? They would be awesome. 2. You have sprouts, which are so nutritious and nearly universally unavailable at most sandwich shops.

Fast service, staff said hello and good bye to me when I came in and when I left. Not a ton of seating, but there are outside patio tables.

Sometimes when you want to order a coffee you just want a coffee. You don’t want to say Grande with medium froth. You just want a damn coffee! I started filling this way when I’d go to Quiznos or whatever latest/greatest sandwich shop opened. . Since I was a kid, I couldn’t wait for lunch time so I could sink my teeth into a perfect mom-made sandwich with chips on the side. This is sad but sandwiches are my favorite meal Jimmy Johns is a simply straight forward sandwich. Sometimes they put sprouts on it which I could do without but damn if this wasn’t how mom used to make em. No chipotle mayo over southwest chicken spice, just a freaking turkey sandwich with lettuce tomato and onion. Their kettle chips are awesome and give you that crunchy salty angle while scarfing down the goodness. Simple cheap and fresh.

As a reflective wise man in my twenties and a noted survival expert I know that in any emergency scenario or survival situation your focus should be centered on satisfying Maslow’s hierarchy of needs: Genoa salami, Italian capicola(gabagoul), smoked ham, provolone cheese and French bread. Of course, depending on your circumstances meeting these basic requirements for survival can be easier said than done. Fortunately, during my corporate exile in the post-apocalyptic dystopia of Kansas City, providence was on my side. Salvation came in the form of Jimmy John’s. Over the years I’ve often found myself eating at different Jimmy John’s across multiple states and the two common traits they’ve all shared is their superb cleanliness and the superlative efficiency of their employees. Fortunately, this Jimmy John’s was not an exception to the rule. The bathroom and lobby are kept so clean that you could eat off the floor and your sandwich(which is made to order) comes so quickly that they’re handing it you as you’re paying. Measured at the rate of fast food, Jimmy John’s has been known to actually triple mach McDonald’s in speed of service. I wouldn’t go so far to call Jimmy sandwiches«gourmet» but they are certainly a cut above all other chain sandwiches. I would never eat the institutionalized crap served at Subway, Quizno’s or Blimpie’s with one of these around. Getting back to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs… all you need to order at Jimmy John’s to satisfy these needs is their flagship hoagie: the Italian Night Club or #9. This wonderful sandwich is first constructed on a roll of their justifiably famous and always fresh French bread and packed with Genoa salami, gabagoul, ham, provolone, fresh produce, the best hot peppers in town and incredible homemade Italian vinaigrette. This vinaigrette must contain an admixture of heroine because I seem to always find myself in a state of earthly bliss when I chow down on one of these bad boys. For those of you who love a good Italian hoagie this sandwich is as close to nature’s perfection as a chain place can get. As an added bonus, Jimmy John’s might be the only sub shop in the country that delivers!
