Jimmy John’s

Just moved here from NC. This Jimmy Johns is horrible. Not to forget how long it took for them to deliver my sandwich.

The cashier person here his attitude was like a bouncer or security guard at a night club !
(was a big guy with earrings)
He also put a wrong order for me, and the guy that made it basically wasn’t far from throwing the sandwich at me like a dog food and they didn’t even say sorry after they saw the order is wrong and he even didn’t give me the cup for pepsi, I had to take it like a self service restaurant.
Will never again go the one in this location. I was there few months ago too, different people but same attitude.

I have ordered an un-​wich twice and both times they only gave me one slice of turkey. Didn’t fill me up at all. An $ 8 sandwich warrants at least 3 slices. Service is quick.

I give them ZERO Stars. Absolutely the worst customer service ever when it comes to them messing up your order. I ordered my lunch and when they delivered the sandwich, the bread was extremely hard. $ 6.50 for a sandwich, $ 2.00 for tip and here it is one hour later and I still don’t have my replacement sandwich. The Manager Nathan was very rude and provided No empathy for my situation at all. I will never order food from this place EVER AGAIN!

Vegetarian sandwich and turkey beach sandwich was good. Nothing spectacular. Glad they have vegetarian options. I thought they were a little pricey for just a sandwich.
I think quizinos sandwiches are better, IMO.
I would go back here if they were close and I needed to eat, but otherwise I would like to try something else.

I live about half a mile away from this store and they say I am out of their delivery area, that’s piss poor service.

I am so tired of telling the person taking my order that I will be paying for my one sandwich with a 20 dollar bill so to please have their driver have change. Every time they say «ok». Every time, the driver does not have proper change. I even had one driver suggest the change be a tip. I’m sorry but I want my correct change back and then if I want to tip, I will tip the amount I choose.

Now I know why this location only gets 2.7 stars. Your delivery is definitely not «freaky fast.» It took 40 minutes, my husband’s sandwich was soggy, and mine did not have «extra» any ingredients that were requested. Thanks for nothing.

Not one, not two, but three hairs found in my sandwhich that do not belong to me. They asked if I could return it to the store and instead I asked for them to deliver a new sandwhich, but they wouldn’t do it because my location was four blocks outside their delivery radius. I was not pleased with how this was handled, all they did was tel me that it was an accident.

I have never loved Jimmy Johns, it’s just okay to me. I never complain when co-​works want to get sandwich from there and only deny my son’s request to go their one out of three times (although, I rarely get myself a sandwich).
I can’t name a fast food joint I enjoy going into more than this location. They are FAST. You can still be putting your credit card away and they are handing you your order. Everyone has always been outgoing and friendly. I typically go in between 4:45 and 6, and there is rarely anyone else in there. I would complain that they don’t have black olives, but last time I ordered them the guy told me that they don’t have blacks olives but they could give me extra no black olives. That made it okay!
For all the great (or not so great) ads I hear about Jimmy John’s delivery and how fast it is… I can’t say this is the case for this location. I have tried it twice and both times it took forever to get my order and both times something was wrong with the order. I live straight down the block… about a 3 minute drive door to door.
If you are a Jimmy John’s fan, this would be a good location to get your fix. Just don’t get it delivered.

Fast, and speedy delivery to work. I asked for a beach club sub with red vinegar and some salt and pepper. When we called the order in, they said they didn’t have any salt or pepper. What kind of a sub shop doesn’t have salt and pepper?!

UNBELIEVABLY fast delivery! But, they often miss A LOT of the things on my sandwich. And then they forget my drink, or my chips. Maybe they’re so fast because they rush at making sandwiches.

Not very consistent. They’ve forgotten elements to my sandwiches a few times. When I come here later at night the kids running the windows crack jokes and make silly voices through the drive-​thru. I don’t mind it, but it’s kinda strange sometimes. Maybe my problem is coming here around 9 – 930.

Best fast food fresh sandwich you can get. Put’s Subway to shame. I love the Turkey Tom on wheat. You can’t go wrong on any sandwich at JJ’s. BBQ are great too, probably my favorite. My wife love the wraps which are sandwiches that use large lettuce leafs instead of bread.
Other than maybe Chipotle or Chick A Fila, this is one of he few national franchises that has nailed it on quality, price and speed.

Quick quality subs! The employees always remember my order and even know my car so by the time I walk through the door they are wrapping it up. You guys rock!

My wife and I were snowed in last Thursday and Jimmy Johns was one of the only places in the Overland Park area that we called and were willing to deliver. They warned us that it could take awhile considering the weather but they were still very quick!!! Thanks guys!

Jimmy John’s is always great and fast. Plus they deliver.

Poor service! Ordered delivery, they forgot my chips and drink, then came back with only my drink. Didn’t offer to take care of anything! I asked them to remove the chips from my card because I had eaten half my sandwich, they refused. Over the phone the manager was swearing! Quite a disappointment from what I’m used to from them! Will never eat from this location (135^th and Metcalf) again!

This is the only shop that I have found in the KC area that comes close to serving their hoagies in the rolls that I grew up eating (sort of crunchy on the outside and chewy — Philadelphia style). I have tried several of their offerings including the vegetarian and I have been happy with all of them. And the best part is they sell their day old rolls so we can use them to make authentic Philly steaks at home.
The only downside (for me) is that it is a chain. I much prefer the locally owned, family run hoagie shops.
