Meadowbrook is fantastic. I’m not a member but my wife’s parents are, and I’ve visited for golf or pool a dozen times. It’s the most family-friendly country club I’ve ever seen, ditching the arrogance of many of its brethren. The pool is packed with families in the summertime, has a great high dive(cannon ball!!!), and a good snack bar with table-side service. Their community is close-nit, and it’s obvious that many of the members are good friends. The golf course was very good but not out-of-this-world. They’re strict about not letting non-members play(I’ve been rejected a couple times), but you can get on if you know a member. There is a short game practice area by the pool which caught my eye, but I’ve never used it. No kids for wifey and me yet, but if we did, I’d happily bring them to Meadowbrook(and obviously get a golf membership).

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Silicon Valley, CA
I was a member at Meadowbrook for several years before they converted from a country club to private ownership. The golf course itself deserves 4 stars but the club house is decidedly 2.5 stars when stacked up against other clubs in the area. I played in a charity tournament recently and the course itself is a real treat to play. The Par 3 holes are all extremely long with each of them playing at least 200 yards from the blue tees. The signature hole is Par 3 #12 which plays around 210 yards with a stream running just below the green. The back 9 is much more interesting than the front 9 so play the whole course before finalizing your evaluation. The Meadowbrook club house is showing its age. With Milburn and Brook Ridge and Blue Hills all recently renovating their club houses, Meadowbrook doesn’t stack up.
