Very nice & would use again. They called me back, showed up when they said they would, and did what they said. I had to have 4 doors re-keyed after a renter moved out. The key I had only worked two of the doors so he actually had to pick one of the locks to get inside. For 4 locks to be re-keyed, picking one lock &4 copies of keys it was $ 182.32. They did add an extra $ 10 to the base service call(and told me ahead of time so I could have called someone else) because I am «so far» south at 148th in OP. That seems a little strange, I’m really not that far south. So minus 1 star for that. Everything else was great.

Great service!!! I needed a key made for my luggage rack. The gentleman working was really busy with other customers. He took a quick look at my rack and asked that I come back after lunch so he didn’t keep me waiting. To my surprise, when I came back later in the day he had a key waiting for me and the price was great. I will definitely use them in the future.

These guys are the only locksmith I ever use in town. For starters, they’re about the last place standing where you can just go and get a key made. And they can make just about *any* key. We’ve had copies made of keys for cars, houses, airplanes, padlocks, you name it. And the one time they couldn’t get what would’ve been a $ 150 key to work(stupid chipped inside-out car keys), they spent a good 20 – 30 minutes trying multiple blanks before they finally had to throw in the towel. And didn’t charge us a thing for it.

Caution! These locksmith’s are dishonest. I wouldn’t recommend trusting your lock business to dishonest people. I called to get a price to cut a key blank for my SUV. I had a new blank that I got on the internet. I was told on the phone that it would cost $ 3 to cut the key. When I got there they charged me $ 25. While Chris was spending 5 minutes cutting it, I saw his price was $ 2.95 to cut a foreign auto key, as he quoted me on the phone. I’m in a hurry, I have to leave town to attend a funeral, so I paid the dishonest price he charged. I’m glad I found out about his dishonesty before I entrusted any house key business to him. Be very careful dealing with this business.

Lost the only key to my Honda Scooter, bought a new blank key from the Honda dealer, then took the scooter to OP Lock & Key and Chris had it rekeyed in a couple hours. Quality service and they were the only place in the city that would do it! I highly recommend this place if you have lock and key issues! Customer satisfaction!

This shop was able to cut a set of replacement keys for my Kawasaki motorcycle using the factory key code. It only took them about 5 minutes to do and the keys work perfectly. No one else in town was able to cut the keys from code. I came here at the recommendation of someone and I’m glad I did. Definitely go see these guys if you need help with a key issue.

I was convinced that my nephew had messed up my lock when he was trying to pick it during my daughter’s birthday party over the weekend. I called the place early in the am expecting an answering machine and a real live person answered and explained to me how to remove the lock from the door to bring it in for them to look at. This would save me a great deal of money as there is of course a service charge to come out to look at it at your home. When I got there the place was dirty, and the displays a little bit dated, but the two guys behind the counter were very excited to get to work on my little lock problem. They told me that the lock I had was«Crap that Schlage should have been ashamed of selling», but that I shouldn’t worry as they’d get me fixed right up. They did, quickly, and their work was quite good. Next time I have a lock or key issue, I’m going back.

A locksmith is an example of a business that you don’t want to have to call, but when you do, you want them to be awesome. Saturday, one of my employees had locked the door to an office that we never locked because… we didn’t have the key to it! Guys came in 20 minutes, fixed it in 10, left us to go back to business.
