Before you go with a low-commission agency, get an idea from a full-commission broker about how much your property can sell for and compare it with the price that this agency thinks is as much as you can get. In our case, that was $ 40,000 less than our place sold for. Yes, our full-commission agent earned more, but so did we, much more. And isn’t that the point?

This agency is extremely shady. My agent and I negotiated with them for three days and when we agreed to their counter offer the seller was then unavailable to sign the contracts. My agent sent them out acceptance of the counter offer and spoke to their agent on the phone to let them know we agreed. Three days later they come back and say since the seller was unavailable to sign the contract. After waiting three more days to get the signed contracts they notify us that they had another offer and they weren’t accepting ours now unless we beat it. I believe they lied about everything and just used it as a ploy to get more offers on the house. This was just bad business and I will never have anything to do with them and let everybody I know how they conduct business.
