Advance Auto Parts

Arrived at the store at 7:57pm on a Sunday evening. The store’s posted hours are open until 8 pm. When I was about 5 feet from the front door and person that was sitting in a car in the back of the parking lot drove up to me to tell me they were closed. I said they were not because the sign said they were open until 8pm. He then said he was the store manager and they were closed because his watch (and he pointed to his arm) said it was past 8pm.
I went back to my car and explained to my boyfriend what had happened. We noticed the manager waited until it was actually 8pm to leave the parking lot.
Would never return to give them my business if they can’t even stay open during posted hours.

Terrible customer service. I went there before for oil and the sales person tried to sell me not what I asked for and just was plain unpleasant. Walked out that time. This time I went and got my oil myself, but asked them to put it in as all other auto parts stores gladly have always done for me. The same unhappy sales person did show me he’s not too pleased about my request. Then, when he finally came outside, he rudely told me that they are not supposed to do it because I may sue them??? Every other store I went to does it no problem. Then he proceeded to look for a measuring stick in a car that doesn’t need it because all automation just notifies you when you need to add oil and how much… I explained that and he still proceeded telling me he has to measure it. Definitely needs some customer service skills and some training on automobiles… Not worth going there at all.
