It was very average for me. Food, atmosphere, service… sorry but it was very forgettable. nothing outstanding, but nothing bad either.

We had a wonderful dinner here. My husband ordered the Irish burger which had corned beef and a fried egg on top of the meat patty, it was amazing! I had the Blue 42 burger which was stuffed with blue cheese and crispy bacon on top. The fried pickles were also great! We will definitely be returning here.

Our food was surprisedly good for a sports bar. The burger was not ordinary bar food burger. It was a perfect size and the spinach and Swiss cheese gave it an awesome but different flavor. The Mahi was good and the rice and spinach with a grilled on top made a nice meal.

We really wanted to like this place. It’s close to our house, and our friends recommended it. Service was friendly and responsive. Fried pickles were salty but yummy(and free for checking in on Unilocal). The Caesar salad, though, was tiny, under seasoned, and all the lettuce was brown.(My husband’s salad was fine though.). The server recommended the braised short ribs and the Caribbean Mahi, so those are the two entrees we ordered. The short ribs order was so tiny! Just a small circle on some kind of oily grits. The whole dish was too greasy, and I left most of it on my plate. Although I complained about the salad and entrée, the server didn’t offer to bring me a different item. My husband’s Mahi was dry and poorly seasoned. The rice didn’t taste good either. The bar looks cozy. I could see coming back here for drinks, but I won’t be back for dinner.

Food was good. Fat chicken wings, not too greasy. Calamari was decent, but smaller than normal pieces. Drinks were small, but I did get a buzz off 2 Bacardi and diet cokes. It wasn’t crowded, plenty of flat screens playing sports. My hubby(burger specialist) said his burger was a 7 out of 10. The hand cut fries were skinny, but yummy. Music was at the right volume and I could hear myself chew. Now I will explain my 3 stars. Waitress was terrible. We felt rushed the entire time! She took my last bit of celery when she cleared MY plates off the table as I chewed my FOOD! My husbands plate was saved because he hovered over his plate like a jail mate. Then she gave us our check without asking if we wanted dessert! Hence we ordered it anyway. See the picture. ;) In all, I had to give it 3 stars. The service did not allow me to enjoy the food and its a one hit visit on my list.

We had such a pleasant Mothers Day dinner. After checking in on Unilocal we had a free order of Fried Pickles! We ordered wings and sandwiches –the southern BLT was so good! Our server Erin was very nice!

Another great meal at Blue 42. Ordered the Blue 42 burger this time and it was excellent. Thick bacon with blue cheese inside the burger. Great combination. We also got the guacamole dip which was very good. Fresh guacamole with blue cheese mixed in. Tortilla chips with a hint of pepper on them. I am very happy Blue 42 moved into this space. It’s a great place to watch a game and enjoy great food.

I stopped in for some dinner with a small group of friends(about 5 or 6 of us). The restaurant was not particularly busy this night, with maybe 4 tables seated. Our server was friendly, and happily answered our questions about the menu. Before we ordered, I purchased the Unilocal deal, $ 15 for $ 25 credit. I showed this to our server and she said we were good to go. The meal took a very long time to come out, which was surprising given the lack of customers. When the food came out, it was OK, nothing special. However, when our bill came, the server did not include the full $ 25 credit, only $ 15 which is what I paid for it. So essentially I did not receive any benefit from the deal. At this point I had spent enough time at the restaurant, so I didn’t bother getting this corrected. Overall, juist a fairly average pub, that could work on it’s service.

Cheap drinks, drink specials every night, and hands down the best wings I have ever had. I come back almost weekly just to have the ghost wings. Happy Hour nightly from 9 to close: half priced apps and drink specials, and yes that includes those amazing wings I was talking about. The staff is beyond amazing! From the first time walking in I felt like family. I celebrated my birthday there this year and the staff totally surprised me with a cake. I highly recommend to everyone that’s looking for a amazing spot where locals go for amazing food and cheap drinks.

Small bar with great appetizers and good service. For those afternoons or evenings you just don’t want to cook, perfect! I will return soon.

Stopped by for their 50 cent wing night. My boyfriend liked the wings but nothing special. They were made fresh however so that was nice. I had the Blue 42 burger which was overpriced and nothing special either. Fries were not that great. Service was ok but a little slow despite the place being empty.

I’ve passed by this place a bunch of times and today I finally decided to try it. My luck, it was Taco Tuesday. I’m sure the food would have been much better had I eaten it there when it was hot, but I got take-out and ate at home. Mahi-Mahi Taco(I did the lettuce wrap). Fish was good and flavorful, but a little dry.(Could have been because of delay in getting home to eat it.) Pork Taco. Not bad. Tortilla was mush by the time I got home, but I cannot fault the restaurant for that. There were liquids and I had a 12 minute ride home. Short Rib Taco. The meat was delicious! I ended up not eating the tacos as tacos, but with a fork. I wasn’t crazy about the sauce they put on top of them all(like a spicy mayo or something) but the slaw was decent. You could tell it was homemade. I also got the macaroni and cheese balls because everyone commented on how amazing they were. Unfortunately, I was not as impressed as the other folks. The mac ‘n cheese had no flavor. None. I kept taking more bites to see, bites without any of the crust, and still no flavor whatsoever. The balls were also very greasy. I could only eat 1.5 because it was just way too oily for me. I was disappointed in these, as they were what I was most looking forward to trying! The wings had good flavor. I got the garlic teriyaki and I’d get them again. Perhaps they could be a bit crispier, as the skin was on the rubbery side, but overall they were decent. The ranch was very good. All in all is wasn’t bad. I’d give it another shot!

Lots of TVs if you’re wanting to watch a game! I had the nachos(which were not that good) and the jalapeño cheese stuffed burger(which was great!). I will go back

This was our first visit to Bleu 42. We ordered the Bleu Burger, Cream Cheese & Jalapeño Burger and a Kids burger. The toppings were good, but the burger was very bland. They need to add some seasonings to give it flavor. It was disappointing since it looked so great. Maybe steak sauce added to the meat before it’s cooked !?! We will come back since it was a good atmosphere and the service was good. Just won’t order burgers.

The restaurant was very clean and not very busy when we came in(3pm on a Sunday). The server was very nice and talked about the various burgers etc. We ordered fried mac & cheese balls, they were very moist, not over fried and served with a lovely dipping sauce. Along with the Mac we had fried green tomatoes. I was soooo excited to order these(it’s a rare find these days). They came hot, fresh, perfectly breaded, and not over cooked. The sauce was good and they came with two different sauces. This was a fantastic start and I must mention the fryer grease was clean(being a cook, the worst flavor to me is old grease) and the cook did a great job at not over cooking! We decided on the fish sandwich and BLT. This is not the normal diner type usually served! The fish was lightly breaded, nice thick cut, super moist and cooked perfectly! The BLT is served on a cornbread with Jicama salad, bacon, lettuce, and pimento cheese. SORICH and sooooo Good!!! I’m excited to live close and we will be back soon to try more things. Ordered wings and burgers to go(brought home for my friends son and g/f).

I went here with the family yesterday for a meal out. We had a kids Mac and cheese, farm burger and a grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was great! Our server was very friendly and very good with my child. We also had their cheese fries and they were fresh and delicious! By the time we got our bill, it had been taken care of! Someone decided to pay it forward! We had such a great experience, we will definitely be back! Highly recommended and great for kids too.

I’ve been to Bleu42 several times to meet up with friends and to watch football. The chef offers more than your typical bar food and his homemade cheesecake is to die for! Make sure to call ahead on the cheesecake to make sure a fresh piece is available. It’s gone when it’s gone. My personal favorite is the Ahi tuna appetizer. A generous portion enough for a meal! The garlic teriyaki wings are deliciously unique and although I did not try the burgers, friends with us raved about the Bleu burger. It is a great place for the game and the staff is very accommodating.

Nice sports pub! Plenty of tv’s around to watch your favorite game! My husband and I got the fried green tomatoes and the calamari for an app. Love the fried green tomatoes! They aren’t over breaded which I liked. My husband got the pork succotash which he loved! It has a spicy kick and had a blend of lima beans, black eyed peas, corn, and jicama slaw. I had the corn on the Cobb salad, definitely didn’t go wrong with that!

4.5 stars! Located off 426, just East of Dean Road, located in a small shopping center by Johnny’s Dinner, The Cigar Lounge and Circosta’s Italian. This space used to be the Oviedo Beef O Brady’s. The interior is still very casual, but it’s been spruced up a bit with a fresh coat of paint, new HDTV’s and a nice backsplash behind the bar. Very casual, so jeans and shorts are perfect and expect a lot of jersy’s come football season. We enjoyed a nice dinner here followed by a second trip a few days later to check out Taco Tuesday and happy hour. Was not expecting the food we happened into on Mother’s Day, a lovely 3 course, fixed price menu with wine pairings. $ 33 was a great deal and the food was delicious. We also ordered a sampling of apps, Fried green tomatoes were delish! Calamari was tasty and the Ahi Tuna app was really great and a substantial portion for $ 11. Wines were nice, better than your average sports bar. Mac and Cheese balls were wonderful, super cheesy and not at all dry. Service was great and we decided to head back to see how the new Happy Hour was. Our Taco Tuesday visit was a nice experience too, we tried a high top this visit and the bartender waited on us. Fallin was very nice and had good recommendations for for tacos. Chicken and pork tacos $ 2, Mahi tacos $ 3 and Short Rib tacos $ 4. They were tasty, fresh and packed full of the main ingredient. A fresh slaw was on the taco, along with Pico de gallo.(No cheese) A squeeze of lime would have knocked these tacos out of the park, but due to the crazy lime crisis and shortage this year– I get why there wasn’t a lime in sight. I would have liked a type of hot sauce to round out the tacos, hubby agreed. The Margarita’s were OK, standard sports bar margaritas made with generic sour mixer. Served in the traditional margarita glass, so the $ 4 drink was pretty small. Mental note: next time I’d got the $ 3 Quervo Well special with soda water and lime. Domestic beers were very frosty and $ 2, hubby was happy. We ordered 3 of the apps that were on special for $ 5. Fried pickles were pucker-worthy and perfect with beer, pimento cheese jalapenos were mild and fresh tasting, the wings were meaty and hubby-pleasing. Thumbs up!
