Place has the best Bar-B-Q wings I’ve ever had, you get the full wing. And they have a black and gold sauce that is to die for.

My experience at this restaurant was superb. I ordered the«Simply Pulled» pulled pork sandwich and it was amazing — and only $ 7.99! The pork was nutty and juicy and so tender and moist that I barely had to chew, it literally fell apart by itself. The sweet tea was strong and sweet, just the way I like it, and the sweet bbq sauce was sweet and tangy with a little spicy bite to the end(perfectly spiced imo). The fries were crispy and golden brown with black pepper sprinkled overtop. The service was fast without sacrificing quality, and the waitress offered me a sweet tea to go before I could even ask! I was surprised by some of the reviews I found when I looked it up on Unilocal, especially since my experience seemed so good. I will definitely be returning in the future to try some ribs and brisket, hopefully they can keep up with the high expectations I have set for my next visit. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area with a hankering for some good bbq!

The best kept secret in Oviedo when it comes to breakfast. They only serve it on weekends and it’s ridiculously good and cheap too! I’ve been a few times and the pancakes are the size of plates and the pulled pork omelette is amazing. Service is good and it’s usually not crowded if you go early. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t yet. Thank me later!

+ Sweet potatoe casserole, slaw, dirty fries — Hides prices online — Dry meat — Servers allowed to ignore work to chat — Dirty place Overall this visit was meh. We looked up the place online before going and noted that the menu was listed as ‘noprices.bonfiregrill.menu’ or something. Yeah, because the prices are the same stupidly high BBQ chain prices all these places have. A spoonful of a side and a slab of dried out meat for 10+ bucks. When we arrived, our server was attentive and we got our orders in for a Pit Boss and Bonfire Cracker with sides of dirty fries and sweet potato casserole. After a bit of a wait, while sipping on average sweet tea, our food arrived. Typical pulled meats dried out on a belt/in an oven for days without sauce or basting. Served on a bun with sauce slapped on top as though that’ll do anything to change the dryness of the meat… I ended up eating my Pit Boss with it in my left hand and a bottle of sauce in my right hand, squeezing on every bite. The house and mustard sauce were my favorites, and the slaw was pretty good too. After a few squeezes I went to wipe off some sauce from my face and realized my hand REEKED. Like, disgustingly REEKED. Both my hands did. Everything on the table(sauces, placard, etc), presumably the table itself as well though I did not sniff it nor my elbows, was caked in this disgusting sweaty jockstrap smell. I had to eat with napkins wrapped on everything from then out and couldn’t finish the sandwich for fear I’d ingest the part my now-jockstraped hand had touched. The sides were the highlight, they were both surprisingly tasty! The sweet potato was sweet, a bit chunky, and seasoned well while the dirty taters had yummy onion bits and a good coating of salty steaky seasoning. Leaving was the hardest part. After someone else served us our food, our waitress went outside and NEVER came back. We could see her sitting on the railing outside the window just chatting away with some guy and figured she’d come back eventually… Nope. For the 20 mins after we finished when the other waitress shuffled back and fourth trying to get to the ticket and then the manager had to unlock her station or whatever and get our ticket so we could pay she was still just yacking her head off outside. Would not return. Bad service, mediocre and overpriced meat, smelly/dirty establishment. Actually, if it wasn’t ridiculously priced I’d take a pint of those sides and some slaw… TO-GO.

My husband had been wanting to try this place, so last Saturday we decided to give it a go. Overall, we had a good experience. This place seemed more ‘bar’ than ‘restaurant’, at least on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere and other patrons weren’t preferable. I was hoping for something a little less rowdy. The other patrons were redneck and biker types and were very loud. They had a live musician playing which would have been nice if it wasn’t so incredibly loud. The volume of the microphone/speakers was deafening, we couldn’t even hear our server nor could she hear us. We were also seated next to the musician which made it worse, however, the establishment is a small size and the volume would have been deafening anywhere inside. My husband asked if we could be relocated to a table outside and the server very kindly moved us without incident. I was underwhelmed by the menu. It took me forever to find something I actually wanted to eat. It was all BBQ and sandwiches, more of a lunch-style menu. Honestly, from the name«bar and grill» I thought that there’d be more styles of food offered, but it was only BBQ and BBQ-esque sandwiches. I think they should update their name that way it’s obvious this is strictly a BBQ joint. The appetizers and side dishes offered were equally underwhelming and unattractive. BBQ nachos? If it’s a bar why not just normal nachos? Who wants tortilla chips topped with BBQ sauce? Is that a thing? Anyhow, my husband and I both settled on the prime rib. I thought it was a fair size for the price($ 12.99) and it lasted me for two meals. The side dishes were a bit small. We both had macaroni and cheese and grilled veggies. I wished for mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, but neither were offered on the menu. The grilled veggies weren’t that appetizing as the smoky, grilled flavor overpowered the taste of the actual vegetables. I’m one of those people who likes to taste the flavor of my vegetables rather than masking it with other flavors. The macaroni was a nice southern-style mac that was reminiscent of a grandmother’s recipe, which I enjoyed. Our server was nice and helpful without being intrusive.

Visited on a Saturday night. Seemed pretty quiet. I’ve been here before and had a sandwich called the three little pigs. Mouthwatering is all I can say. Staff is great and prices are reasonable. Definitely going to check back.

Great food, good overall service; reason for only 3 stars is cigarette smoke very prevalent in inside restaurant seating — which detracts greatly from the whole experience.

I really enjoyed this local Florida bar. Stumbled in here on a Sunday morning around 11 after discovering the BBQ Shack up the street was closed on Sunday. I ended up dining on the outside patio bar with a friend and my dog. From what I saw inside, the place was clean and fairly busy for football with plenty of tvs. I had the brisket hash and poured some of the bourbon bbq sauce on top. It’s certainly not going to win any awards but the food was good and they brought out a water dish for my dog. It looked as if there were others with dogs, so I am guessing the place is dog friendly, which is an extra plus in my book.

Unfortunately, my experience here wasn’t that great. Good thing I wasn’t really hungry. Initially, we sat at the bar but then asked to go outside since the weather was so nice. After reviewing the drink menu, I ordered an Angry Orchard. I was told that they no longer have those and now carry Woodchuck. Not a big deal so I accepted the Woodchuck and order the fried green tomato appetizer. The fried green tomatoes came out hot and battered but they were NOT green. After biting into the tomato slice I discovered that the inside was red and ripening… and the batter wasn’t good either. When our waitress came back I send them back and chose not to replace it with anything for 2 reasons — 1 I didn’t see anything else that I wanted and 2 even if I had, it would have come out after my companion finished their meal. The manager came out, explained that the cook was new and didn’t realize the tomatoes were turning red and offered to send another entrée etc. etc. and I graciously declined. In the end, she just removed the charges for the tomatoes. Eh, maybe another day…

I might be a BBQ snob and hold this food to a higher standard than others since I am a certified bbq judge, master judge actually, with the Florida BBQ Association(think of the tv show BBQ Pitmasters…) I know, it’s a weird hobby and you can blame my parents! That being said, after eating some award winning brisket earlier in the weekend, I was really craving some more good brisket and burnt ends so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered the brisket and asked them to add in some burnt ends if they had any, and also ordered a side of Mac n cheese. When the food was given to me, it was all what they called burnt ends. I asked the waitress, who was super nice, to fix this and she did. When I got the plate back, it was a complete disaster. The brisket was not served in slices and there burnt ends were not real burnt ends(moist and tender pieces of the point on he brisket), it was the actual burnt pieces of the brisket which should have been thrown away. It was comparable to eating a bite of charcoal. The brisket was dry, chewy, flavorless, and completely inedible. There wasn’t even sauce provided to try and add some sort of flavor or moistness to the dish. I couldn’t swallow any of the pieces I tried and, sadly, my dogs wouldn’t even eat it. And they eat socks and garbage! Instead of being served in slices, the brisket was all chopped up. It was thrown in the box without any thought to presentation. If I were judging this at a contest, it would have received a very bad score and would probably have come in DAL(dead ass last). The mac n cheese was pretty bad too. Noodles were mushy and cheese from a can or mix. They are getting 2 stars instead of 1 people the employees were very nice and helpful!

First time here today and really enjoyed it. The food was served fast and very fresh. We had Gillian today and she was great offered us great recommendations and they were spot on. Never imagined they would have breakfast as well so everyone in my family was happy. The BBQ beans were delicious and so was the quality of the smoked meat. The menu had a lot of great stuff on it, we will be going back again soon to try more. Make sure you ask for Gillian she made the experience even better.

Visited this restaurant last week with family during lunch time and it was a pretty average experience. at the time of the visit the restaurant was not busy and the service was pretty good, our waitress was very attentive. As for the food the burgers have a decent variety and are decent tasting, in addition the variety of sauces adds to the experience. The big issue I had was that the water was disgusting. Other than it was a pretty average experience.

if you are looking for fancy, this isn’t the place, but if you are looking for real smoked meats — you have found it. I’ve been to Bonfires for a few times and have not been disappointed. Add in a full bar and access to outside seating and it’s a very comfortable environment. Pricing is reasonable to inexpensive and overall it’s definitely worth the visit.

Good, decent bbq. They offer a wide selection of loaded up burgers. They also have a good selection of sandwiches, Phillies, and melts. Good side items and full bar. They have seating at the bar as well as outdoors. They are great for sports fans. The beef brisket philly is my personal choice when I come here.

We live in the area and I’ve heard good things about Bonfires breakfast so after The Townhouse was an hour wait, we decided to try it. Parking lot had lots of cars, friendly greeting, seated promptly. By the time waitress came by we were ready to order. OJ, water, 2 eggs scrambled with sausage, 2 over easy with bacon, toast and hashbrowns on both. Also ordered stack of pancakes. 45 minutes later, the food finally arrives. We have two orders of over easy, no scrambled. Ugh. Asked for drinks to be refilled also, both totally empty. Waitress returns 15 minutes later with scrambled eggs. No apology, no refills either. One thing I have to mention is the pancakes and syrup provided. They both had an underlying sweet, almost angel food cake batter taste. I was initially bummed there was no butter, but it just would have been a waste. Before the food arrived we were thinking it would be a nice place for dinner, close by, locally owned, not a chain. Unfortunately we will not be back.

We just love this local business! They have awesome burgers and BBQ. The owner is always coming up with new specials to keep the menu fresh! On Sat and Sun they even serve breakfast… biscuits and gravy are sooooo good! My sons Boy Scout Troop made it a regular stop on their way home from campouts. The fried okra is never burned up(huge pet peeve of mine in BBQ places) and the Mac and cheese is just right! Now let’s get down to some of these«specials» the photo attached is the DKB BellyBuster Burger. Let me explain for those of you not from the area lol. Donut King is this incredible small, make them fresh donut shop. The people of Oviedo are crazy for them. Leave it to the owner(Eggie) to partner with said donut shop to make an indulgent, juicy, huge, and delicious burger. Yes, you read that right haha a donut burger! Glazed donuts contain a perfectly cooked patty with cheese, an egg, and of course bacon! This is one of those«special» menu items only seen at certain times. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a full bar with tons of TV’s to watch local games. We’re looking forward to the season opening of Walking Dead soon! Stop by, you won’t be disappointed :)

Great place to eat at any time of the day. Their homestyle breakfast is my personal favorite. If your their for lunch or dinner I suggest the hick burger! I brought my family for dinner the other night and we had the pleasure of Bethany as our server. Very cheerful, outgoing girl. Could not have asked for better service.

I’ve been holding off on visiting this place, because I assumed it would be just like Woodys, but it’s much better. I had the brisket with two sides(the menu says, 1 side and salad, but you can sub the salad). The mac and cheese was really good and so was the brisket, baked beans were pretty tasty, but not the best I’ve ever had and certainly not the worst. The Texas toast was incredible. It came out hot and absolutely perfect. I feel like I’ve never had Texas toast the right way until now. My date had the chicken and sweet potato casserole and really enjoyed hers as well. The BBQ sauces were also good. When it comes to BBQ in Orlando I feel like I have to make the obligatory 4 Rivers comparison. The brisket was not as good, but everything else easily was, and it was a lot cheaper and the service is better. I’m looking forward to coming back.

I ordered the super platter with ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and beef brisket. The platter was definitely too much food for me. I did thoroughly enjoy the meal though, the food was not salty(I didn’t have to drink a gallon of water afterwards like some BBQ places). There is good value in this restaurant. There are six different BBQ sauces for your palette to enjoy, I personally liked the HOTBBQ sauce. It does have a certain«Hooters» feel because the waitresses are in daisy dukes, but the service was definitely good and the food is much better than Hooters.
