Don’t buy their warranty plans! Purchased an HP Officejet Pro X476dw 7÷5÷2013 with their warranty plan. The All in One HP has completely stopped working. Made initial contact 2÷19÷15 with Staples Warranty division– was first advised that in 4 hours I would get a call back. 2÷20÷15 called warranty division back to follow up and oh wouldn’t you know it– it’s actually 4 days NOT4 hours to get a call back. I use the all in one in a very busy office environment and we are suffering greatly without it but that does not seem to concern Staples. Visited the local Oviedo store on 2⁄23 to see if the manager could help me. He took copy of warranty & said he would call be end of day or possibly first thing the next day. Waited patiently thinking surly a store manager would help get this resolved, especially since our office does so much business with their store. Lunch time next day called the store, he was off for the day! Called the our account manager on 2÷23− still no help. Doesn’t sound like they are really in the warranty business– what a scam!

Better check the return policy! It stinks! I bought my parents a home phone for their new home. Once they got all settled in they decided they didn’t need it anymore. I went to return it and even though it has not been used, Staples has a strict 14 day return policy and would not take it back. It was an $ 80 phone! What am I going to do with an $ 80 phone! 14 days is a terrible return policy and will make me rethink anything I buy from here again.

Located in the Home Depot plaza at the corner of Red Bug and Aloma /SR 426. Nice Staples location. I have used the copy center inside several times and have been very happy. The service is great, suggestions helpful and turn around very timely. Bonus, they sell stamps. Pricing was good and work has been completed perfectly. Store has good selection of regular and sale items, pretty busy on weekends and back to school shopping times.

I was able to find most of what I was looking for, but I stood in line at 9:00 at night for 40 minutes while other employees were busy cleaning up the store for closing. I’m sorry, but you can do that after closing.

We purchased office chairs here and were quite happy with their quality. We’ve also purchased laptops here – they have pretty good prices and their staff can answer questions. I’ve dealt with their service department before, but mostly we’ve agreed that there wasn’t a solution to my problem so have tested their work yet. They have good prices on paper, computer printer ink, notebooks, the whole gamut. I love that they recycle ink cartridges here. We’ve also had them print large poster sized photos for us and we were very pleased with the results. We like the membership program and often get good discounts because of it.

If you know what you’re going in for, go for it. But if you need help or need to return something, go somewhere else. Management at this location is a joke. I worked in retail for 6 years, have been shopping all my life and have never experienced such horrible service from some High school graduate«managers». I went to return an item on the 16th day, I do realize they have a very short 14 day return policy, but the item was new never used and still in the plastic wrap. They didn’t refund it, I would have been fine with a store credit. She was very rude saying«Do you want me to read you our return policy out loud» and stuff of that manner. I asked her if I could return it with No reciept as it says«Items with no reciepts will be given the lowest store price in form of a store credit» Fine, do that for me instead. She was ill-educated and nasty, she then got me a manager at my request, who came out of the office with a McDonald’s burger in his hand saying they don’t take refunds after 14 days. How professional is that, and not even hearing what I had to say? I left, very irritated and insulted that these people are even hired to work in customer service/retail. 2 days later(day 18) I was able to return it at a different staples in Lake Mary for a store credit, with no problem at all. I used the store credit for a misc. purchases, but I can assure you I will never shop or support Staples again.
