Holiday Inn Express Owasso

The company I use to work for offered the room to me so I didn’t have to drive home and back in the bad weather, so I went ahead and took it. There was pubic hair in the toilet, and in the shower. The rest of the room was pretty clean, and I slept pretty good, but it’s definitely not worth the money they spent.

It is a very nice Holiday Inn Express but it is still just a Holiday Inn Express. Clean and newly refurbished room, comfortable beds, a super nice staff and a decent free breakfast. Still low end furnishings, located across the street from the freeway and bulky-​noisy a/​c units. Still a good price.
Would not be my 1^st choice but I would still be willing to return.

I had bedbugs in my room! They switched my room and I checked around very well. Looks clean. Why are all the hallways and lobby so hot and humid? Is the central AC broken?

I stayed at this Holiday Inn for 7 days. I was very impressed with the servicing of the rooms as well as the friendliness of the hotel staff. The only thing I didn’t care for was the location of this hotel. There aren’t any nice restaurants nearby. Just a gas station and a Wendy’s.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating.
Keep in mind this is a Holiday Inn, not a luxury hotel. You get what you paid for, the room was clean and comfortable — nothing more nothing less.
I had no problems connecting to the Internet and the complimentary breakfast was decent.

WiFi didn’t really work. I wasn’t ever able to connect and my friend was able to connect once but gave up due to how slow it was. Hot tub advertised on the website has been cemented in. Pool towels smell dirty. Weights in fitness room that were advertised on the website do not exist. One of the three cardio machines was broken. Carpets dirty. Nonsmoking hallways reek of cigarette smoke. Hotel rooms smelled of mildew. The upside? Decent continental breakfast, clean bedding, convenient location.

The other reviews make this place seem like a hell-​hole. It’s not the best HIE I’ve ever stayed at, but it wasn’t terrible.
First off, the staff (specifically the young lady at the front desk) was pleasant and very helpful. My room was clean, and I really had no complaints about it (except the bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine). There was awesome water pressure from the shower head (shower seemed new-​ish), and the AC kept the room from getting too stuffy. The thermostat was outdated (not digital), but no big. The bed was comfy.enough.
I do have to mention the work out room was a disappointment. I posted a pic, but there’s an elliptical, stationary bike, treadmill, and dumbbells. The elliptical was lopsided and broken anyways, along with the bike. There was only 1 set of dumbbells on the entire rack. Fail. I ended up using the treadmill since it was the only working machine. As I’m trying to stay healthy, work out rooms are big must for me on my travels. This might just be the dealbreaker.
Oh wait, another dealbreaker is the unbearably SLOW internet. Sure, it’s free as always, but I was so frustrated at how slow it was during the night, I almost broke down into tears. Being on the road, I’m always planning my trips (sales engineer), and I couldn’t do that this time. It was terrible. For goodness sake, FACEBOOK couldn’t even load, let alone forecasting tools and google maps. Don’t even think about streaming a video on Hulu.
I only stayed one night, but the combination of lacking workout room and ridiculously slow wifi might keep me away from here :(If you’re not staying for business, then don’t worry about it! Decent rates and a nice room.

Recently was in Oklahoma for a family get together. But we were promised a bigger suite and then later was told that is mistakenly given to someone else. No comp or any arrangement was given to us. So we had to accomade 5 people in one room.
A gathering was booked at this place and the manager/​or person that handles such parties, totally went back on her word on various things and the whole thing was a mess. Poor management.
The room had poor ventilation and was constantly stuffy even with the AC on. Beds were small and very hard. Also they had some sort of leak from the ceiling as you walk through the lobby and when you walked to the elevators you would get sprayed. lol
FOR THE ONE STAR… The current staff was friendly and the breakfast was pretty good and filling. Biscuits and gravy gooood and they had free wi-​fi.
I live no where near this place and would only come to visit, I will NEVER stay here again. but warring stay far far away from this place.

I stayed there with my daughter last friday night. When I turned on the A/​C the whole room was filled with a horid urine smell. I travel ²⁄₃ of the year. This was the worst stay at a Holiday Inn Property in ten years. I emailed the G.M. i got a response asking me to stay again, and they would upgrade me for free. They should have refunded my money.
