Lovely! New taste adventures for us… service was great, too!
On our way to Missouri we found this place and decided to stop– lots of food, good value, rock star service. I would definitely come back.

What a cool surprise. Pupusas in Owatonna, Minnesota! Fiancé and I stopped in for a few and thought they were very good. We got the bean and cheese, cheese and locoro flower, and a couple others to go. They were made fresh and totally hit the spot.
The slaw on the side could have been fresher, but aside from that, it was great. Service was very friendly. Fingers crossed this place stays in business. Rural Minnesotans need to expand their culinary horizons!

A small, casual place with a neighborhood feel to it, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was even better. The papusas were delicious. I opted for the spicier sauce and was glad I did. For $ 8, I got way more food than I should have eaten, but it was so good, I ate it all anyway.

We felt like we walked into a friendly family’s dining room. There are only a couple tables, and we were greeted like special guests at this authentic El Salvadoran restaurant.
The papusas and tacos were excellent and the selection of Jarritos and apple soda was fun for our kids. The younger child appreciated the cheeseburger option.

I was surprised that there were no reviews for this establishment, and when I put the address into Waze, it brought me to a spot a few blocks away. It took about 20 minutes of walking around, and asking locals, before I was able to find it. But boy, was I glad that I persisted.
For around $ 12, I received more food than I knew what to do with. The food was great, the pupusas were as good as I’ve had anywhere else. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and came with salad, sauce, rice, etc… The tamale was tender and delicious. The service was great, always with a smile, and very responsive. I chose to sit outside, and people watch, and this place was doing brisk business. The locals must have figured out how great it was, and are just keeping it to themselves.
