Great stay. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Older building but clean and spacious rooms.

After a really long drive from Ontario, we arrived late to the hotel. We were efficiently checked in with courtesy. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express before and knew we would find a clean room with the basics. Really, all a weary traveler needs — wi-fi, super clean bath with all the needed products(from Bath and Bodyworks), choice of pillows. We appreciated it all. Breakfast looked substantial. Check out was also courteous. All around good value.

Your average hotel, but not at such an average price(150/night). Free Internet was nice and the place was really clean, but our bed was horribly worn out, had a plastic layer on it that crunched all over the place, the two phones in the room had some sort of short that caused them to light up brightly every ten seconds, and the microwave(facing the bed) display was shoddy enough that you could see the flicker of it. With the lights out in the room, if your eyes are good enough to see it, you’d go mad.

This is definitely an old hotel(noticeable in the elevator and room AC system) that’s been updated. The room and the bathroom have been nicely updated and there aren’t any funky old hotel smells.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times this year. I come here so frequently that the lady at the main desk recognizes me when I walk in. The location is great, and now the McDonald’s across the street is open! The thing that I don’t like about the hotel is that the beds are a little lumpy and the breakfast gets old fast. They only rotate between two different options in the morning. Some days they have scrambled eggs and then they have this egg and cheese omelet thing. not my favorite, but then again they probably have the best breakfast in the area. Overall it’s a good hotel. The location is close to work, the accommodations are adequate for my needs. They have HDTVs in the rooms, and the wifi has good speeds overall.

At first, we were worried whether this group of hotels would be open after the massive flooding last year. Fortunately, it was, so we stayed a few nights at the Holiday Inn Express this week. Everything on the first floor such as the lobby, dining area, and my room looked new. I’m guessing that it may have been remodeled. The furniture and bed in my room felt new and my room even had a LCDTV, microwave, and mini fridge. Although the view wasn’t that great, the two windows let in enough light to brighten the room even during cloudy weather. The bathroom is tiny but functional. The bathroom door can not open fully due to the sink but since there is no bathtub, the shower area is quite large. I also liked that there were freshly baked cookies in the afternoon(around 3PM) and that there is a porch(with chairs and a table) that looked out upon the river. When the weather is warmer, I’m sure that it would be enjoyable to sit out there.

«The front desk guy is nice. His Southern accent makes him seem even friendlier.» «The wireless internet here is great. Just shove that card in and go.» «That showerhead is huge. Maybe I should turn it and see what OWOWOW! Turn it back!» «These fresh baked cinnamon buns are so goddamn delicious, I could eat my weight in them, but I won’t because that would make me sick.» «This park is nice, and it’s right next to the hotel. The Susquehanna River is right there. Look! Some children built a snowman with a head like a rabbit.» «Eating at the Treadway Diner is so fancy. And they even give you a $ 5 coupon at the hotel. That means I can order something expensive.»
