Best gyros I’ve ever had! I go to this place once a week for the gyros alone. Service is great the atmosphere or the restaurant is unbelievable

After several visits I can honestly say this is one of the best diners I’ve visited. The food is consistently good, the portions are generous and the prices are more than fair. The only weakness for me is that when they are busy the Wagstaff acts noticeably hurried when talking to you. They are still friendly but tend not to be as attentive. Still, an awesome place to grab breakfast.

The River Rock Diner is a very nice place to eat. There is seating outside but we usually try to get a seat by the windows to look out so we can watch the Susquehanna River flow by. The servers are very good. It is a friendly place to eat even when they are busy. We generally go there for breakfast. They have a very good breakfast menu and usually have specials on the board. We have eaten there for dinner once. It was a good dinner. The prices are very reasonable also. I recommend it

I was highly disappointed. First cup of coffee was cold and took a long On my way! To get to us. The food was fair, not much flavor and service was poor. Sad to say I won’t return.

Formerly Los Tapatio’s and Harold & Harry’s, the River Rock Diner is a casual restaurant serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week, located along Route 17C in Owego. Parking is in back of the building, The dining room is cozy and clean with table seating and a great view of the Susquehanna River from the back windows. There is also a wooden deck in back of the restaurant too which overlooks the river, too. The breakfast menu offers egg dishes, omelets(w homefries & toast), pancakes, French toast, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, sausage gravy over biscuits, and breakfast sides. The lunch menu offers grilled sandwiches, cold sandwiches, & burgers, which come with fries & pickle, hot open sandwiches(w mashed potatoes & vegetables), salads, soups, chicken wings, and sides. Kids menus offered for breakfast and lunch. A few breakfast specials are posted on the board which include coffee too, Pepsi products served here. The prices here are pretty reasonable, entrees in the $ 3.95-$ 8.95 range. I stopped at River Rock Diner for breakfast recently. It was seat yourself and I found an open table. I ordered the Western Omelet($ 4.95) with American cheese(add $ 0.50) and an ice water(I already had coffee beforehand). The food was served to me in about 10 minutes after ordering. The portion of food was the right size and filling. The rectangular shaped Western Omelet was the blended type with a mix of ham, green peppers, onions, and cheese. The homefries were seasoned chopped potatoes, grilled firm on the outside to a crisp. The wheat toast was already buttered, Smuckers preserves on the table. Overall, the breakfast I had was very good and reasonably priced. The service by the waitress was prompt and I was given another ice water as I finished the first glass.
