Menards – Owensboro

Menards has EVERYTHING! It’s been a few years since I’ve moved from Owensboro, but whenever I’m in visiting my parents, we sometimes end up at Menards. It’s hard to describe what Menards is. I would say it’s a cross between a Lowes & Walmart. They’ve got the outdoor, lawn & garden stuff, but they also sell home stuff.
You can buy laundry detergent, brick pavers & shutter nails. They’ve got it all. I’m not sure what they don’t have. You can get your outside space designed at their design center. They’ve also got there you get a certain amount pack on a rebate. The last time we were there we got an 11 percent back on a rebate. You stop but the customer service center & get the forms to get the rebate. You are able to spend the rebate on future purchase at Menards.
We stopped in a on a Saturday morning & were able to use the automated propane tank dispenser to change out empty tanks & get new ones. They system is available ²⁴⁄₇ it said. We also went inside to look for folding chairs my parents needed & found an associate by the name of John who was very helpful. He helped us find the folding lawn chair section and also the shutter nails that we needed.
If you’ve got an hour to kill, this place is a great place to look around at all the stuff they sell & stuff you’ll need once you know it’s available.
