I have stopped in twice and both times the food was great. The pulled pork barbecue is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Don’t forget the coleslaw. For breakfast I would recommend the western omelet or my favorite the smashed potato bowl.
If you are in the Owensville area or driving through the food is worth stopping for.

Well if you like food that tastes like it was found in a McDonald’s dumpster this place is for you! Bad service, food was dull and there were flies everywhere

My husband and I decided to come here for a nice little date night and we felt as if we stepped right into a friends home. Uncle T is very welcoming and makes you feel like family. We could hear our food being cooked behind us and was super hot and fresh when arrived. This is a great home cooking eatery and will leave your belly full!

Hey this is a good fun diner. Great people, super laid back and casual. Great prices. Fast. Classic comfort food with a few twists on menu and good portions. When mom’s on strike you can fuel up here and be off the radar.
Goetta!!! That should make this a five star. Get it on or in anything else on the menu. Makes this one of the few CINCINNATI restaurants to serve the Cincinnati classic.

My husband likes home cooking and I didn’t feel like cooking so thought we’d give it a try. We ordered take out. Large, hot, carefully wrapped portions. I got the prime rib. It was delicious. Best home fries ever. Not greasy. I liked that they used red potatoes with the skins on. Homemade French salad dressing (enough to actually cover my salad!). My husband ordered the grilled pork mashed potatoes, coleslaw, salad and biscuits. Everything was homemade.
He’s pretty hard to please and not to keen on restaurant food, but he ate it all and said it was great.
One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time.

Stopped in with the family, out of 4 meals the best thing we got was the chicken tenders which were pretty good but not enough to bring me back. The restaurant is tiny, and dirty, it could use a very thorough scrubbing. The owner has a well known reputation for treating his staff terribly. I doubt we will go back.

Ordered simple breakfast bacon and eggs and took them 45 minutes to bring the food. The waitress just kept coming by saying «oh your food is still not here». Then food was poor quality. Super thin bacon. Greasy eggs. Person with me ordered biscuits and gravy and said it tasted like a cheeseburger. I would totally not recommend this place.

Service is GREAT. Wings were cooked perfect. Burger was properly cooked and tasted great. Highly recommend if you are ever out in this neck of the woods
