Note: This is not a retail store, but a computer supplier which sells via the Internet, at: Context: I am a long-time customer of boutique computer outfits, such as Velocity Micro and Falcon Northwest, which specialize in custom-built computers. The product I purchased was accurately constructed to my specification, and has lasted 2 years so far, with only 1 minor hardware issue(flash media reader no longer functions): 4 stars. Selection of components and extras is pretty good, but not what I’d call«expansive»(for example it’s not possible to get a solid state hard-drive, and no second hard-drive): 3 stars. Price was in line with the product offering: 4 stars. Cerise staff expertise was as good as that at any other boutique: 5 stars. For a boutique, service was a bit iffy, with more delay than I’m accustomed to in this market, and too little information on the progress of assembly and expected delivery date on my machine: 3.5 stars. Bottom line: I’d consider using Cerise again, although the premium one pays to be in this end of the computer market warrants better customer service, so I’d at least consider other options.
