Lenny’s is the epitome of good food and great service at an awesome price. Their Cloak & Dagger sandwich(Corned Beef with Slaw & Russian Dressing) and Lumberjack Vegetable soup are out of this world. I can’t wait for my next visit to Lenny’s! Huge portions at a great price? What more can you possibly ask for?

I ordered an Italian Cold Cut sub. Had it before there and it was good. This time it was basically a turkey sandwich with a lot of mayonnaise slapped on it. Not good at all. Don’t think I’ll return. They’re too expensive to not give you what you ordered.

It had been awhile since I I had been to Lenny’s…usually received rude service and mediocre food. I would go there because it was close to work. Stopped in there last week. Waste of my money. I can’t complain about the service. They were neither rude nor polite. Which, I guess, is an improvement??? The food was subpar… even with my low expectations(based on past experiences). It will be a cold day, in a very hot place, before I go back again. If I’m craving deli food… there are better options in the area. Want good food and friendly service? Lenny’s has neither

This is one of those places that’s a total pleasant surprise. We were driving by and decided to pop in. The staff was awesome — letting us try whatever we wanted to. The food was great! The soup, sandwiches, everything! It’s a happy place to be. You can tell the staff is a family and they love what they do. My one complaint would be the chicken and tuna salad… they put sugar in it. I’ve never heard of that in my life and chose to eat something else. But sugar? We will be back!

I went her because I saw the words«Bakery!» I have driven past this place countless times… I guess there was a reason for that. I will say that I really enjoyed the snicker doodle cupcake and the yellow cupcake with chocolate frosting. The cookies weren’t that fresh, I actually go the last 6 but that is a lesson in itself. I was thirsty and went to get a fountain drink and then I saw that they had hot food. Although it didn’t look fresh, I decided to give it a try… after all someone was bringing fresh chicken wings out. I got wings and potato wedges and tasted one onion ring. Well I’m glad I only tasted 1 onion ring and didn’t buy any because the onion inside of the ring was so dry and hard I couldn’t eat it. So, I went on to taste the western fries. Those were dry and not fresh either… another non-edible item. Although the chicken was freshly cooked, it was bland… very tasteless. Money waisted… and we are still in a recession… smh. Well, I ordered my husband the pulled bbq chicken sandwich and a side of mac and cheese. Surprisingly he said the chicken was good and although the mac and cheese was edible, he wouldn’t order it again. I’ve come to the conclusion that since this is a Delicatessen that I obviously went there for the wrong reasons. I’m not sure why I thought I could walk in a delicatessen and think that I can order good hot food… My bad!!! So next time I will get something from the Deli… maybe I will have a better experience. I gave them a 1 because of the cupcakes and my husband liked his sandwich… other that I would have given them a 0… oh wait, Unilocal doesn’t work that way…

The food process of ordering and paying is pretty organized. It’s basic cafeteria process but the food is better than your school children’s food. Well, it’s not free — we have to pay — so it got to be better.

In my humble opinion, they have the best«Baltimore style» hot dogs. Service is quick, clean and yummy.

Larger and easier to get to than the city location. They still have the same great corn beef and pastrami. The Reuben off the grill is the only way to go.

Usually I will take ambience, service, and presentation into account in a Unilocal review, but this time I’m not. The reason is that I would enjoy their delicious nova even if the restaurant was a shithole and the employees were scabies-infested chimpanzees. Thankfully, neither is true. The ambiance is like a McDonald’s in a nice area and the employees range from meh to the guy at the fish counter who recognizes us and remembers our order when we come in. Yes, the nova is $ 35 a pound, and yes, it is noticeably better than say, Fresh Market’s, which is $ 20 a pound(still delicious). Their hotdogs are great, too. The only other things I’ve had here are the powerhouse(really fresh rye, huge, fresh veggies, and better than average Swiss) and their chicken noodle soup(weak). My husband is a huge fan of their corned beef, Reubens, and Cloak and Daggers. Just to clarify, I’ve never ordered a sandwich with the nova, just ordered it from the deli counter. But I honestly would rather my husband bring that home to me than anything else in Baltimore!

Really good! Lots of the reviews were negative on presentation and stuff. I can see where people are coming from but to me it’s a deli spot and the presentation was appropriate. Really nice breakfast and endless options for doctoring up your coffee. Which I appreciated! French vanilla coffee. Yummy. The pumpernickel bagel egg sandwich was really yummy.

Expensive sandwich with not much meat in it and everything else was expensive! Nothing really special about this restaurant! The sandwich i got was tasted average!

This place right here rocks. It’s location is on a line of stores where you really don’t know which one to go in so you just might end up going in them all. I went in here to pick up sandwiches for my mom. I was greeted as soon as I hit the inside of the store. It was a busy afternoon but, I received no attitudes at all. My sandwiches were made quickly and I was in and out before you knew it. I had to travel about 30 minutes with the sandwich which were corned beef on rye. Let’s just say mom is just waiting for me to go back to that store. The corned beef was very fresh and just right. Thumbs up

I love Lenny’s in Pikesville ! I eat there sometimes all day! I love there breakfast after church on Sunday’s. Also the atmosphere is laid back, you can’t be stuffy all the time lol. Good portions, big televisions, family friendly. Let’s go eat and enjoy good Convo

Eh. I’m ALL about presentation when it comes to dining experiences. The place was dingy and smelled like dirty mop water. We were desperately seeking a Jewish deli because we wanted an authentic corned beef on rye. The corned beef and cheese were delicious but quite expensive. I think that’s the norm tho. What turned me off was the cleanliness of the staff and the facility and because of if I will not return to Lenny’s. Good lighting and febreeze go a long way.

I love love LOVE chicken pot pie with puff pastry top. So friends suggested I try Lenny’s Deli on Reisterstown Rd. It was ok. Like just ok. I wasn’t blown away. Frankly this is one step up from Boston Market pot pie. But it does what it needs to do for a comfort food.

I’ll keep this pretty simple We don’t live in Oregon. We live in Maryland. And not only Maryland, but Pikesville/Owings Mills. So we are a Jewish deli community. I had just moved here and i heard it was a good place. So i walked in and didn’t even look at the menu. I just asked to have a chopped liver on toasted rye w/onion and mustard «we don’t have chopped liver» WHAT? Can i get the same thing with fried bologna and tongue «We don’t have tongue» Can i get a turkey rachel «What is that again»? Nevermind Have a nice day

First time here and got for breakfast a Rueben a long with a bacon, sausage, onion, & Chedda omelette. I split everything with a buddy so I didn’t pop! Delicious all around. The counter cooking my food was friendly and so was the cashier. I need to come back for the rest of their menu. Can’t go wrong with Lenny’s Jewish Deli
