This is the best hotel in this small town so if you have to stay in Oxford this is it. The rooms are dated and the staff could do better. Be careful when paying cash, when I was there last month I paid cash and I’m just now getting the charge off my credit card this week! The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast.

This hotel was decent. Fairly clean. The walls are kinda thin. Ac unit squeaks, but due to the unseasonably cool weather, I did not need it. Room was a little dated. I liked the Hampton in Henderson more, but it also cost a little more. You get what you pay for.

They could not honor an early check in for us, which is fine, but we didn’t get into our room until 2:30. That’s 30 minutes POST regular check in time. The room was satisfactory in terms of size. Cleaniness was okay. The«gym» was dated and the machines were pretty much a health hazard. Breakfast consisted of muffins, eggs, bacon, yogurt and fruit — probably the best part of our stay.

My experiance was so horrible with this MOTEL, I thought I was on the tv show«punked»! When I went into my «sleeping room» I found a bug on my bed! When I told the front desk, they accused me of lying, and argued with me about giving me a refund. Unfortunately I had a «meeting room» booked there for the next day, and it could not be changed last minute. So although I went to another hotel for the night, I had to return the next day. When I walked into the room it was filthy!!! There was an old Murphy bed in the room, trash, mold, staples in the Walls holding wallpaper together, and the list goes on! I literally thought it was a bad joke! The manager was beyond rude. He acted as though he hated being there and rolled his eyes at every request. He was even rude to the people attending the meeting I had there. I was so embarrassed for them to see this room! I never complain about things, but this is just horrible. I contacted«choice hotels», and they said they were looking into it. I then received an email from the manager(the rude one), and he denied the shape of his motel. Until I showed him the photos I took of the room!!! DONOTEVENGONEARTHISPLACE. It’s dirty, unhealthy, unsanitary, and the staff is horrible! Go to the Hampton inn across the parking lot and pay the extra $ 10 a night… it’s 100% better!!!

After a certain point, I can’t really recall when it was, but I stopped paying attention to the things that I once did that made up a hotel. At first, it was a simple questioning of the relative malleability of the beds and if the soap they provided was interesting. Quickly, though, it has evolved into weather or not they gym that they have provided will cause G.B.H. to someone or if the parking lot is suited to park suits in. The gym in the hotel was dreadful; a broken treadmill and a bike that spun at different speeds. The parking lot was an awkward fit for the bus. It was just a one-day stop but was still strange. Swimming pool was closed for the season so I don’t know what to think of that. They had a can opener so that Hans could eat soup and the rooms were a decent size, at the least!

Star: ++ Hospitality: ++++ Accessibility & Amenity: ++++ Comfort & Cleanliness: +++ Neat, spacious place! Got cable, slow wifi though. Awesome pool and breakfast hours for early phoebes despite the fact that the pool needs cleaning. Great waffle mix! Serves bacon and eggs as well.
